i take this route all the time. i live in plainsboro. which is like 5 mins away from princeton junction. to get to new york it takes about an hour since they make stops. and you pay 21.50 for a roundtrip.

THIS TRAIN IS MY LIFE SAVER...IT USED TO BE 15.75 round trip to NYC from Trenton...Now its 19.50...Parking is a bitch now $7 - 11. And they want to raise the fares again. dammm. If it wasn't for the riverline, I would have never taken that train. It beats driving on the NJ TURNPIKE dealing with the state police...paying $6 dollars to enter the city and the expensive Toll rate on the turnpike...and GAS PRICES...you have to agree with me on this one!!!

I didn't see anything that looked like Secaucus Junction. That's obviously the New Brunswick station at the end--you can see the church at the end of College Ave. as they're pulling into the station. Secaucus Junction is enormous and modern, with no buildings nearby.

I didn't see anything that looked like Secaucus Junction. That's obviously the New Brunswick station at the end--you can see the church at the end of College Ave. as they're pulling into the station. Secaucus Junction is enormous and modern, with no buildings nearby.
