Tibetan and Chinese relationship go back a long time. We ruled each other back and forth. However, when China was weak, Tibet was very vulnerable to becoming a colony of foreign powers and it was China who helped. (1840 Russia, 1903 Britain). Mao was not right, but he kepy China at least from splitting into pieces.

Tibet and Manchuria and Mongolia are all major tribes within the Chinese region. We all ruled, leanrned, and bled under the Chinese banner.
