You have it wrong. In 2000 Miami beat Florida State, who somehow ended up ahead of us because the BCS formula didnt consider head-to-head match-ups. Oklahoma went on to defeat Florida State in the title game 13-2. Miami whipped the Gators in the Sugar Bowl to finish #2. We also beat the Gators up off the field too. I remember Alex Brown crying on camera with a black eye. It was great.
