We have a massive coal mine and its diesel equivalent is worth $21 Trillion, $150+ billion in steel potential, Reqo Diq has $250 billion in proven copper/gold reserves with estimates stating it could go up to $3 Trillion, our Shale/Natural gas reserves amount to about $250 Billion (probably more because Punjab's shale content isn't measured), and billions more from other metals, minerals, clays, etc...

Education should be the No 1 priority for any developing cntry.The more educated ur cntry is the more developed ur cntry is.A cntry which denies basic education to it's citizen's will fall into Failed states. Bill clinton said " If india and pakistan both instead of increasing defense budgets by 20 % each year if they put on education and poverty allocation. Then they can really become global players" Look at our per capita <1200$ where as world averge is 10,000$. I hope india and pakistan can unite each other with all misconceptions cleared. we can be force in the region and in the world

But I would like to add that there is a large amount of International Involvement in creating and maintaining tension between these two countries; as we all know Governing bodies and Armed forces of both the countries are the puppets controlled by them. A lot of Pakis don't seem to realize that the problem isn't the defense budget but our tax to gdp ratio - we barely collect 10% while India is close to 20% and other nations 25+%

The military get's as much allocated as a % of the GDP as most other nations but the reason money isn't available for other projects is that we're collecting half the taxes we should especially considering the number of people below the poverty line in Pakistan is much lower than India - there is no excuse.

I do understand the tension between the two countries and its horrible. But its logical, will we fight forever? I also mentioned that how much role of education is played in the development of a state. I think its fine and its a great job to finance the defense but its bad to lack the education.

last year india increased its defense budjet by some 40% and is benefiting from a new strategic alliance with isreal and america.

Pakistan must maintain a minimum strategic deterrence.True pakistan should have a education policy in place but with failed leaders like zaradari and nawaz sharif and constant interference by foreigners in domestic affairs thats unlikely
