Wow, if that's really Jaleel White (The original voice of Sonic the Hedgehog from the cartoons), this fan film is going to be epic. Anyone that's complaining that the voice sucks is obviously under 12. White from SATAM was the definitive Sonic, and will always be the definitive Sonic. Insane props to the producers for getting him to do this role, if it's true.

1: Who cares if it's Mobius or not? Either way, it's the planet Sonic lives on with fictional locations. The name of it doesn't make a difference. Personally, I prefer Earth because Sonic isn't an alien in a galaxy far away from our own. It's merely a fictional version of our world. He's a hedgehog. Robotnik's human.

2: How are the human cities annoying? Why not mix them? Seriously.. they don't really have much of an affect on anything. lol I just don't understand xP

2. Cause it completely destroys any ability to have a good story like satam or the comics, --- the native people are are repressed by a human dictator (who knows how he got there?), thats a lot better than all the games storys.

Cause this is a movie you know, it needs a good story / environment to play in, the world the games play in don't offer that.

@nighthade1 And based on a pic of the movie case they made sonic ugly as hell, weird lines all over him, hes a darker blue, and has a darker colored stomach for some reason even though its supposed to be the same color as the muzzle / arms. If they wanted to change anything they should have kept the streamlined look and maybe put tufts of fur on him to make him a little more realistic.

They should have just made him like he was in sega's cgi, like in the short movie night of the werewolf.

1) Not really. He didn't come from another planet. When he's on Earth he's not a "Mobian". Mobius and Earth are the same thing just different names depending on the continuity.

2) Umm... that story is based ON the games. Roboticization is based on Robotnik using animals to make robots. But he's not trying to rule a world that nothing but mostly little critters live on. He's using them as an army to take over the worlds human civilizations live on. lol

Also, in the Sonic world there are humans, animals, anthros and aliens. These are the inhabitants of the world. It doesn't matter WHAT they are. They are the victims, the ones who will be subjected to slavery by Eggman if Sonic doesn't stop him.

The upside to humans is Sonic can be a symbol for the mto be good and NOT like Robotnik. They also help the theme that human civilizations DO populate the world and kinda tear it down, that the world is not a perfect place.

@nighthade1 And sorry but I think I like South Island, Station Square, Mystic Ruins and Angel Island more than a forest by itself and.... well that's pretty much it. lol I liked Robotropolis but Eggman in the games creates so many small isolated cities silly and dark that it pretty much offers that as well. And the games include forests too so to me they win, are more diverse, colorful, adventurous and actually explor Sonic's world. =P

@Falcovsleon21 It's just you. Jaleel White's voice hasn't changed and reaching his Sonic voice shouldn't be that difficult just because time has past. It's not like he's 76 years old anyways. lol Some voice actors do a voice FOR 10 years. A lot do the voices for generations at a time. Some people take 2 generations off from doing a voice and return to it, sounding exactly the same. It's just they told him to do it different. Consider this his 3rd Sonic voice. AoStH/SatAM being 1st, SU being 2nd.

It doesn't really fit to me tho. The closes Sonic voice it sounds like is his Sonic Underground voice which I didn't like as much. But otherwise, it doesn't sound like Sonic to me. When I hear the voice I don't picture ANY of Sonic's faces in any of the styles. I just picture some random musician. xDD Plus it sounds like he's losing his voice or something. o-o But oh well. My own opinion is this looks great I mean give this some credit the trailer gives it the amazing look. Sure sonic looks.. Different.. But at least it's better than the model in sonic next gen.I kinda like the fuzzy look on him. Jaleel white seems to really put it through, although there is still some flaws, by god I'm definitely watching this.
