  • awesome vid - thank you sir!

  • Between the G and the Em, what is the chord? Thanks!

  • @PSPbrtag Don't worry about playing it as a full chord, just hit the low E string at the 2nd fret.

  • is this tuned up?

  • Great video as always. intersting about the B sus. Hey was wondering is shredder 0911 stalking you? Thank goodness you decided not to reveal your identity. I'm thinking you might have a cable guy situtation going on or it could just be a legitimate man crush on your playing skills.

BTW would you might consider taking on the acoustic echoes version after you fill the other 14,000 requests you have gotten?

  • @Guildguy2 I have stalkers, but shredder0911 isn't one of them. Actually, I dig his videos, it's a pretty cool idea. His style is very different to mine, which makes for interesting listening/viewing. Besides, I end up learning something (as in, stealing licks!) from just about every guitar player I hear. :)

  • I know you said you don't like prog rock too much but can you please do Warrior by Wishbone Ash?

  • Have you tried using the Nashville tuning variant for this as it is on the record? It sounds really cool...I did it using my Ovation Ultra steel string. Also, fun to do "Hey You" properly with that tuning while you have your guitar set up like that...

  • Also does anyone know the strings that come with the Aj500r from the factory? they seem to have a warmer sound to it. the ones i have now have kind of a "Wish you were Here" type sound to it if that makes sense

  • Can anyone help me? i have had an Epiphone Aj500R masterbilt since October and just now changed the strings that came with it but recently before i changed them whenever i played the High E string on the 2-4th fretts sometimes 1st - 5th it would give me a muted sound to it and the sound stays the same no matter where i am between those frets. now that i have changed the strings to some Martin Sp lifespan it does it all the time can someone help me?

  • PT..could you please do some Terry Reid?

  • Where do you get the money for all these expensive guitars man?

  • @vikingchris22 Mostly, I get the money from my wallet.

  • YES!!!!!

  • YES!!!!!

  • Bm, A, G, G7, Em, ...Bm, A, G, G7, Em...D, A, D,A...∞ Is that look like the right chord pattern? Is this in the key of D or D something? Should I go back to sleep? Night.

  • Great job man i have yet to see one bad video (and i don't think i will) on your channel i see you've been playing some songs off of the wall. i went to see roger waters perform it this year it was truly amazing. :).

  • Hi-is it me or is the pitch a tick sharp on this? I was playing to your Young Lust clip with the same guitar and started this one and it's off a bit. Could something in the upload process cause it to be off? Love your vids, though :)

  • great brother! peace

  • another great strummer. thanks.

  • Hi,just love floyd,Nice sound Mw

  • great rendition! your uploads have helped tremendously! thanks very much.

  • Great!

  • great, just great

  • Greatly done

  • Hi, well done! Thanks for your channel. Can you do "Wish You Were Here"?

  • If you can you should play the lead to this also, cause just by watching this video I can figure out how to play this part no problem!

  • Dear..... I like this song... :)

  • One of my all time favorite songs is "On The Turning Away." I would be very happy if you would play it. Thank you so much!

  • @privettricker Nice work! good to see you doing some Floyd. You're an awesome rhythm player! PT i have a request, could you do Paul Weller - The changing man?

  • I unsubscribed, then subscribed again because i could.

  • PT what equipment do you record ur videos with? As alway enjoyed watching.

  • take a stab at impossible germany by wilco?

  • Excellent.

    Love your bright guitar sound.

Can you let me know what guitar you play and what woods it is made out of?

    Thank you

  • @loveguitars PT is playing his 2002 Gibson SJ200. Gibson now just calls em J200's.

Sitka spruce top, flamed maple back and sides, rosewood bridge and fretboard, MOP inlays. Sweet guitar. On his channel he has a Vid of his guitar collection which he posted a bit ago. Just type collection in the search engine to bring er up. Hope that helps.

  • @Avalanche1368 Thank you very much. I appreciate your help. I think the maple adds the brightness I like. Take Care.

  • :-) great job. you solved that Bm issue. next? "Wish You Were Here" ?

  • I've been waiting over a year for you to get in a Pink Floyd mood! Thanks for doing Young Lust! Can you please, please, please do Have a Cigar? That solo is killer.

  • If this happens to get your attention, I don't usually do this but I bet you would do a great version

    of Green is the Color.

  • Love the fact you did this acoustically. There are plenty of solo performances and electric versions of this on YT. Way to keep it fresh.

  • great job

  • so what about anya by deep purple?

  • @angela21215 I'll have to listen to it again, haven't heard it in a while. Struck me as a bit on the Spinal Tap side, but I'll give it a chance.

  • @privettricker Spinal Tap ?????

  • @angela21215 :areyoufuckingkiddingme:

  • pt please would you consider playing astronomy domine?

  • @angela21215 Ooh, I don't know. There's an awful lot of standing around if you're the guitar player on that song.

  • @privettricker theres a shorter version on youtube titled: pink floyd on french tv 1968-1969.there wont be too much standing around with this version.they went straight to the point.

    thanks in advance!

  • Isn't the first a Bm???

  • @MrACDC1997 It's a Bsus2. I've never actually seen a live version before, so I looked one up just now (called "comfortably numb new york session") and saw that Dave does play it like this, not a Bm.

  • pt thanks for playing the rhythm part of the song.what people dont realise is that is good to know what gilmour is playing over each chord, this way you truly know what a great musician he is.

  • Nice wish you were here at the end ;)

  • The second solo of this song is almost as significant as the whole song. I don't accept a cover without the solo(s)!

  • @BiboLesPaul Then I guess this is good bye.

  • @privettricker Do you do much of The Who?

  • @BiboLesPaul The guy has posted over 1000 covers of killer songs, has taken his personal time to answer thounsands of people's questions on how he plays the songs ect. and your complaining that he did an acoustic cover of Comfortably Numb?? You're joking right?

  • Wow great job. It's odd that it seems you're are almost a full step up from standard, but I guess I have never played along with the track. :) Thanks again.

  • Good cover, this song is awesome

  • ♪ ♫... ☼... ♪ ♫...

  • Thanks. Good job.

  • don't you think an electric cover with the solo would've been a little better?

    but cool anyways :)

  • @bastardgear8 No, I don't.
