I can relate about sex. I don't like my body much either, and don't care much about the "gooey" parts of sex. Snuggling, cuddling, yeah.
FWIW, you seem plenty mature for your age, but depression and all can definitely slow down your development and social skills. You are certainly very bright, wise, even, for your age. Maybe that's Oz vs. USA, I dunno, but it seems that way to me.
Lucy, I think you should go with your true, innate feelings and let them direct you to who you feel you should be. Others can guide you but you make the final determination. Regarding writing, I still firmly believe you can be a working writer though, it will be slow at first. If a writer is what you want to be, the story and characters always need to come first. Once you move beyond writing as a catharsis, I think you will do well. I do miss writing with you; keep the faith.
I know exactly what you're talking about as far as learning goes. I know more about comic history than world history sad I know but its true!
