@heimlichkeit tear gas is really not that bad. the best i can describe it as, well its kinda like being out of breath after a really really hard run but with a stinging sensation (you just need to stay calm and not get too excited about it (fear)) , in the end the gas chamber makes you really appreciate MOPP gear no matter how much it sucks to be in it. im just happy it was only tear gas because their is worse stuff out there but you'll find out once you get your Airmens manual.

after serving three years in any branch, provided you have a good record, you can apply to transfer to a different branch of service and keep your same rank or equal rank. Although, it can be tough if you have not completed your contract term. If you have good reason to transfer then the chances of your application being accepted at a lot better.

Everyone calls the navy a bunch of homos, marines are dumb jar heads, air force are a bunch of lazy paper pushers and the army hides in the rear with the gear... Its all in good fun. If it came down to it all DOD military branches have eachothers back when its time to go to war but a marine and air force or army soldier might bump heads and fight in the pub. Truth is, every branch thinks they are better for one reason or another

dont worry about tear gas. the effects wear off in a couple minutes and they are not nearly as horrible as oc spray. that shit will fuck you up hardcore.
