I too would have preferred to hear, at least, some of Phill Collins drums in this remix, but in defence of the dj/producer who remixed this track, it's apparent they chose to focus on the guitar riff and the vocals of the song. We all have our favorite parts of any given song and thiers was obviously the guitar and vocals. IMHO i can only give 7 out of 10 stars: Too much "disco" in the first 25 sec of the song and no Phil Collins' drums.

Open mind! I think it's a fun dance mix. Phil's drums are still there. Just speeded up a bit. I like it. I like the original too. It's always fun to take old tunes and see what else you can get out them. I sincerely don't thin Phil or Frida would mind this. I means people still dig the song and each generation is making it their own.

MHPB is the Mega Hurtz Per Beat. This is a hot remix heard it in a club in NYC when I was there. People were jammin to it on the floor. Hell so was I. Didn't know who did it. But the DJ was on. Trust he jammed us till close which was 4 am. The floor was not empty but with hot bodies getting wetter by the song.

I don't mind remixes as long as they are interesting and well made.

This one is an amateur production (flams & flange poblems) and it is just boring and doesn't do any good for the song.

This is an okay version, because it stays fairly true to the original feeling. In the original, the chords and Phil Collin's drum beat make the song, along with a kick ass vocal from Frida. I still think the original is best. I have an extended version of the original (almost 9 minutes long) that uses nothing but the album version, and it ROCKS! If you have bearshare, it's on there, under MORODER MIX.

I've lovesd this song since it first came out, when I was too young to understand. Now...I love it even more. I'm heavy into paranormal studies and research, and i've made this song a theme of sorts over the year when I'm in the field on an investigation. This is THE best remix i've heard of this one yet!!! Yes, he was. He was also her producer on this album. She was a great fan of his "Face Value" album, and after talking with him she found she had a lot more in common with him than she thought--the fact that he, too, just went through a tough divorce that he didn't want. Thanks for stopping by.

Thank you, Elin! I really loved this remix, and I just had to put it out there. The editing was a horror story because this version seems to have a faster tempo than the original version. This is basically the Bomfunk MC's "Crack It" with Jessica Folker's vocals stripped and replaced with Frida's.

I know, the same thing happened with me. I didn't know it was THE LEGENDARY Frida! I saw the video under the Related Videos one day several months ago, and I clicked on it and was instantly taken back to 1982. And I've been mad on Frida ever since. Thank you, Shay! Along with this one I found some remixes of this that sounded very homemade. The best one out of the bunch wasn't of very good quality. And there was a very homemade-sounding remix of "To Turn the Stone" with them that featured Frida's and Donna Summers' versions. I could have done as much. Maybe if I ever find a good copy of Donna's version I will. ;)
