love the books on drums of attumn but PERSONALLy i capitalize that to convey no offense meant, id cast david wenham as jamie. I've seen videos where gerard butler is jamie he could maybe be dougal...if i was in charge of casting thats what id do. great vid :)

i hate rachel as Claire!! she is ti main stream and not at all strong enough in my opinion. I think they should choose an unknown actress who number 1 has curly curly hair and 2 porcelain pale skin as Claire did. Essential Pictures has launched development of "Outlander" as a potential franchise based on the Diana Gabaldon series of fantasy novels.

The newly minted shingle's out to directors with an adaptation from Randall Wallace ("Braveheart"); the goal is to start production next spring. Gabaldon's series of six novels center on an 18th century Scottish Highlander and his time-traveling wife.

IA, I feel that he should play Collum if any character. There is another Scottish actor who is popular in Scotland, don't think he's made it Stateside yet, but he would be perfect for Jamie. He's young, tall, and looks like Jamie, IMO. If only I could remember his name.

I love Rachel as Claire! She could pull off the quick wit,sarcasm, intelligence and strength of Claire. Not to mention, she has a face Jamie would fall deeply in love with. She's feminine, but tough like her role in The Mummy.

no, unfortunately there's no movie at the moment, all you can see are tributes to Diane Gabaldon books (and to Gerard Butler...that would be a perfect Jamie ;-)
