We will go out with a bang long before the universe dies, our demise may be just around the corner, dark times lie ahead for our species I wonder if we are strong enough to survive them.
We're the first, we might be looked back on as forerunners, we might die without a trace, we might evolve or devolve, we might dwindle out of existence, we might be completely eradicated, we might become one and live on forever. We might be anything, we might do anything, you don't know. On human terms we may go out with a bang, but on the scale of the universe I'm sure it will be nothing, little more than a pixel on your computer screen blinking out.
Yes I agree, sometimes it makes me laugh when people think Earth is the center of the Universe but to me life is beyond a miricle, its almost like the Universe is trying to know its self. I think humans could evolve some more, well esspecailly our brains! We think we are so great and intelligent but we have bearly crawled out of the cave and what worries me is that we forget that we are just animals with large brains. If we do die out I hope we don't take the Earth and all life here with us.

Yep, not at all a fan of the direction the show took at the end.
Not because of angels or any of that, but because of the dramatic shift in the "feel" of the show, the extreme changes in each character from episode to episode, and the myriad plot holes (really, an inexcusable number). The entire fourth season (and a lot of the third) was pretty disappointing. It's too bad.. I was a huge, huge fan of the show.
@raj1037 ... yeah the show so much needed at least a fifth season to tie together all the loose ends and allow for a more organic growth of the characters. in the end much of it seemed kinda forced and honestly not all too profound. Baltar and Caprica Six talking with their respective "angels" in the end just kinda seemed like a cop-out -- they just wrote off two seasons of so-called buildup with a few lines about purpose and that was that. Ah well -- great show besides (and i've seen worse).
@raj1037 That's exactly how I feel. Great until about midway through Season 3. Then plot holes, changes in the feel of the show, weird/rushed/inconsistent character development....and then, Angels? wtf?
It was obvious that the writers didn't know what they were doing at the end of the show: something they admitted to.
I think it's a good shout out to the Ship of Lights and battle between good and evil from the original series. One of the few times the original was serious.
Do you really think they were trying to work in a nod to the " Ship of Lights " from the original ? That was one of the few bits that WASN'T campy or semi - serious & semi - pretentious.
Oh cool I just noticed that when it zoomed out on Apollo and Starbuck...they were around the Eagle Nebula. Do a search for it in the Hubble Space Telescope pics and you'll see it.
Awesome vid/music composition! Love that music Bear's music is wild and your video comp fit it just perfectly good job choosing most points without dialog gives it more depth.
So, is there a downloadable, or high quality version of this? Or is this the high quality version? I'm confused by the part "Will post later tonight."
I was searching for the music that was being played during the time when Sharon was being greeted by her duplicates on Episode 1x13, and it took me a while to realize it was part of this music.

Better than most fan music videos as it uses appropriate music. Problem is it is still a fan music video and thus still falls in the 'lame' category. People please stop making these.
It's a huge cloud that appears in normal colors to everyone else, but yes.. Kara sees the same colors/pattern as in her drawings and the eye of jupiter
It's incredible what Bear McCreary has been able to compose for the new BSG. Really unusual for a tv series to have such a first-rate soundtrack. Cool vid btw.
I hope our generation takes the earth with it. What an achievement that would be!
Though we'd either die or have to live on future earth, driving space cars and eating blue food. That would be shit.
