I know she wants to be like salvation for women rights and she use word Islam as a base of her plan. I'm agree when she talked about women rights and the divorce at her first minute of this video but the way she think about Islam was based on western global rights but not based on Quran and Sunnah. She way to far when she get influenced by western thinking which is not same with Muslim's faith and virtue. She's a Muslim but she's not a right muslim. May Allah guide her to the right path. yup, everone has the right to speak about Islam BUT if you spoke about it without proper knowledge of Quran and Hadith ( it's not just by reading the translation my dear...) then it's likely that you are speak something alien to Islam itself. It sounds like Islam BUT it's not.

I'm not an Ulama' but I know where to find the references. Do some research my dear...

there are some other simple teaching in Islam which very unfortunately were twisted by a certain group. they even fight against fatwa even though the fatwa has already being discussed by ulama'.

my non-muslim friend, Islamic teaching is based on 2 sources: dalil nakli(Al-Quran and hadith) and akli (akal,refer to the discussion based on nakli). if u really wanna know bout Islam, i suggest u to refer to proper source. for instance, just google JAKIM. there, u will get a proper brief bout Islam.

now, u may ask me, "what is the example of the so-called responsibility?". so, here is the answer.

In Islam, men are responsible in managing family which include find money to feed them. if we, muslim men, dont do it without any relevant reasons, according to Islamic law, we are sinned. which can lead to the so-called "fasakh", can be claimed by wife. however, if the wife got money, it is not actually her responsibility to feed family. however, obligent Muslim usually work together as a family.

some ignorance people (including some muslim) who dont actually learn about Islam indeed have a bad habit,which is to claim that they are the expert in Islamic teaching and law. for instance, they usually quote that men are superior as compared to women in Islamic law, which is absolutely not true.

for those who misunderstand this concept, let me tell u 1 thing for sure. there is a BIG difference between SUPERIORITY and RESPONSIBILITY. in some aspect, men have greater responsibility in Islam.

im pretty sure that this zarina doesn't really know bout Islam. this kind of people always fight for their own benefits. demanding changes by saying the rules and Islamic taught are irrelevant nowadays. however, this kind of point really shows that she doesn't really know bout Islam.

for instance, they say that Islam dont give dignity to women, but how about the hadith "syurga di bawah tapak kaki ibu"? does that insult women? or does it shows how high Islam ranks women?

Discrimination against women is secondary to the issue of women discriminating against males. I worked in occupational fields were the majority (80-90%) of workers are female. They are the most discriminatory and biased group of people I could ever imagine! I experienced unfairness from every front. Women are allowed to get away with it against males because they promote propaganda like this video, which paints them as victims. They aren't victims any longer.. they a perpetrators!
