  • I first found out about this tune from hearing the Zero 7 Remix.....I like this version way better. :)

  • Love.

  • lord goosebumps

  • Had four 'upper' stay with me while on tour in Texas. Very polite and respectful young people.

  • c'mom progeny!

  • It's nice to hear good music nowadays. It seams to be the only thing that's getting better with time.

  • Love it.

  • I saw them once ... Kurt just walked out the entrance of the venue to the bus, past the people waiting in line ... coolness.

  • great video, first time I have seen it. go Lambchop ! as for Kurts mouth, great musician, songwriter, etc. Not really a handsome man, i guess, but who cares. He makes great music. As for handsome I will let the ladies decide that one. LOL !!

  • I try to get nixon to stop bombing people, but he is too tricky for me.

  • I think the CG of the president's mouth is scary! The mouth looks like it belongs to a monster.

  • Sensational. The Zero 7 remix is a "must listen".

  • @roccosifridi that remix is fucking fit

  • Don't remember this one being on "Push Barman..."

  • Absolutely brilliant.

  • J'adore! Oui oui!! fanfeckingtastic!

  • Are you screwing

    Up your life today?

  • Probably the best thing I have seen all year so far....

  • great tune - terrible video

  • good grief...this is awe-inspiring.

  • Nixon now

  • upourlivestodayupourlivesUPOURLIVESTODAY

  • Nixon was no more corrupt than any other politician, he just got caught thats all. How many others get up to mischief and never get their collars felt?

  • i didn't think that i could like anything more than richard nixon

  • Great band, great song and they are terrific live.

  • Up Our Lives Today, "Today" Up our Lives Today.

A total classic. Luv it luv it luv it

  • anyone from UWP 1997? Email Jose Zuniga, Event Coordinator from Costa Rica

  • Greatness abound.

  • Up With Lambchop! And Up with Nixon too!

  • @SDuck347 fuck you asshole!

  • 1:14 ahahaha

  • saw them play in a church today, most touched I've ever been in a church

  • that's what all the choirboys say

  • what about that time when you were an altar boy?

  • @lordkragoth69 it's good not to be touched too much in a church.

  • @lordkragoth69 guess you're not from Ireland then. ;)

  • @lordkragoth69

    You, sir, are lucky.

(I've been touched more in a church)

  • @lordkragoth69 ahahahahahaaha

  • LOve it, thanks:)

  • Really, does it get much better than this? Listen to this five times and deny that it burrows into the deepest recesses of yr heart and mind. Sublime isn't a strong enough word.

  • Great music,terrible video!

  • This doesn't sound right...it's faster than the album.

  • This is brilliant. Why haven't I heard of Lambchop before tonight!

  • glad u good join us.....great music, check out zero 7 version...both versions are great

  • Great song! music keeps lifting us to the chorus with anticipation... bass line reminds me of Joe Jacksons song "Stepping Out"

  • I first heard this on the radio in my office one morning and it completely stopped me in my tracks. One of the most beautiful and uplifting songs that I have ever heard.

  • Lambchop and Zero 7...Twickenham in August 2004...a lovely afternoon in the sunshine...BUT, alas, lambchop didn't play THIS fabulous song, which was a great shame.

Wonderfully upbeat sounding song, despite the lyrics and the video...The Tindersticks are similar in creating that dichotomy too.

  • haha - you are right - I saw Stuart Staples at a Lambchop gig in London.

  • Awesome group

  • this is amazing.

  • Very big in Serbia also...

  • one of most beautiful songs in the world

  • Enorme!!

  • His teeth scare me..................

  • Brilliant song.

  • I'm from italy. I love lambchops . kurt s voice is great end the arrangements as well. I'd love to listen them live! who knows if they will come to iTALY!

  • forza livorno

  • i am a long-time fan of lambchop, i have just about all their recordings, and been to 3 concerts.

never seen the nixon/up with people video. it is splendid.

i look forward to more lambchop: recordings and tours.

  • Great simple inspired song.

  • maravillosa canción

  • Beautiful track, beautiful voices, beautiful arrangements, beautiful orchestration.... I love the Zero-7 remixes as well. I'd begun thinking I'd never hear any quality music like this again, since the untalented, uninspired, sampling, so-called "r'n'b" cover singers took over.

  • BAND ofcourse ;-)

  • I'm from Poland, I love Lambchop, more this bend ;-)

  • I'm from germany, and i can say that the audience loves Kurt and his Band very much.I visited 4 concerts in the past years and it was always a big success, wish the band will come back soon

  • I got into these by scouring(unbelievably)the Jazz/ World/Music section in a record shop onetime in the late ninteies and bought it on the off chance. Glad I did. They're excellent.

  • One of Nashville's Collective best work

  • This band could be as big as R.E.M. or Radiohead... unbelievable nobody noticed em ...

  • nobody noticed them...they are well known in a small Country far away from nashville, with only 10 000 habitants named Portugal

  • nobody noticed them!!!...well they are very well known in a small country far from Nashville with only 10 million habitants named Portugal

  • and here in germany too

  • ... and in Finland!

  • Well known in Ireland!

  • @Fatman86 don't know about that! Maybe if they tried to be more commerical

  • The most upsetting thing about the situation in the US is that even at alternative music stores, the catalog of Lambchop's music is small if at all present.

  • @captainezchord

Goes well with the shutting down of Wikileaks.

  • @captainezchord

Goes well with the recent closing of a website exposing truth.

  • Same here. I'm in Scotland and have loved Lambchop for years, yet still regularly talk to people in America who have never heard them. Surely something wrong there..........

  • Frankly, Mr Shankly - I couldn't agree more.

    Cayke of A.F.C.

  • that looks like kurts basement.

  • I've heard about Lambchop through the British music press in the latter half of the nineties. Got to see then live in Boston a year ago. I cannot believe how underrated this band it - the fact that they have so little exposure in their own country says volumes about American musical preferences.

  • "NIXON" The VIDEO In 2000!!!!

  • Thank you Kurt.

  • "Nixon" is always my Holiday-record!

  • RICHARD M. NIXON: *Date:May.26,1971 (Nixon&NewsPrees)

Back In The GOOD OLD DAYS!!!!

    "NIXON NOW" (1972)

  • Lambchop is the best. I stole the CD from my dad and he is always bothering me to get it back. He never will, I promise that

  • I stole it back...don't mess w/ the Dad!

  • Only wish they'd play in the usa more often..best group ever.

  • Brilliant - i keep coming back for more!

  • Powerful and evocative. Kurt Wagner is a genius song writer and sublime musician as are all of the musicians in Lambchop.

  • Cheers Captain. Brilliant Vid!

  • Lambchop's greatest track, I love it...
