You can let the parents feed them (they won't be tame), or you can pull them from the nest two weeks after hatching and hand feed them. If you hand feed them, they will be very tame, but it's a big commitment. You buy some baby bird formula and follow the directions. Let me know if you decide to hand feed them.
Hi, my lovebird has 5 eggs and i hatched yesterday.....this my first time breeding lovebirds.....can you help me with ideas, tips how to care for them and the baby and the eggs for now on ? thankS
@MetalBassjunkie420 Cannabis seeds are as detrimental as hemp seeds-- THC isn't active. Birds, like humans, have cannabinoid receptorsbut there are myriad factors why to keep the drug (active THC) away from them. Smoke being secondary to dosage.
Not sure on the nutritional benefits for birds on those seeds, fatty acids etc. But they will likely go after any seed that makes a "plink" noise

what temperature should the baby formula be?
joeb1l 3 years ago
If I remember correctly something like 102 to 105 F but I always test it to make sure it feels right.

You know, you really don't find that many hand-fed lovebirds. These babies will be quite tame.
