Just incase i didn't mention it on the day, Morris Iemma, Ex-premier, often comes in and came in as premier almost once a month, he gave us some insights as to what was happening in terms of F1 in sydney, the Eastern Creek redevelopment, the A1s and of course the Homebush Bay street circuit (V8s). It was pretty cool.
i do go kart racing and its bloody expensive!! you guys should come to oran part on the 1st week of october I wil be there and so will 1000s of other karters because its the NSW open station championships. You guys should come down to see what its all about, karting is awesome and super competitive I have been in races were 1st to 15th were split by 2 tenths!!!! But yeh you guys should do it basd on your motorsport knowledge you will do good!
Honestly, we currently have a mini melted-ice-age in Europe. Everything is grey, wet & awful, so enjoy your sunny weather. Anyway, looks like you had a great fun there. Lots of kids, lots of go-offs & lots of fun. As I said, not karting, no suits, but still nice 100th podcast.
Thanks for the reply fellas, Slot cars/racing over here in the UK used to be quite popular for kids/teens as I remember when I was younger everyone wanted them, they where called Scalextrix over here though, Im sure theres a shop at the Metro Centre in Gateshead that does it all, not sure about the F1 side of things though, I was told from a mate they also have an official F1 shop there too, Im gonna have to pay them a visit sometime, search slot/scalextrix on here and may be some nice setups !

Building up a slot set at home would be cool, The Slot Shop for example sells all sorts of model accessories like grandstands, garages, even pitbabes .... Yeeehaaa!!!! (Pep)
If they re invigorated slot cars/Scalextrix, wouldnt it be cool if they made the real tracks of the season in F1 with slot cars, Where you could keep adding to the set, ie Grandstands etc etc, Then when they change the cars each season release and new slot car model, Im 30 year old and I would turn my spare room into a nice slot car room for it, They could make a killing if someone done this !

Yes, 1/32 slot car detail has certainly come a long way in the last 13 years.
Many people purchase them for display only, but in my opinion they're built to be raced ;)
