This video looks like it was shot near Indio CA. There are not too many tall palm trees anywhere near Benson. I love Benson and travel there from my home in So Cal, and this scene looks very much like the Coachella Valley.
Benson is my home, I take offence with your video. It is not the Benson I know, I don't know where you took the video but it was NOT Benson. Get your facts togather. There are no fields of cotton or anything elce here.Just Rolling hills and desert, Great sunsets.
The wild wild west. Apache country. My mind began to flood with the history and all the stories for all the names you were mentioning. Thank you for that bit of excitement for my minds visions of the old west! :-)
I stopped briefly in Bisbee once. Remember a couple of buildings strung up and down the side of some mountain. Great atmosphere in your wild video west!
Yeah, I've crossed this country many times by car, bus, train and plane, but I keep forgetting just how huge it is. We have plenty of room for everybody if we'd just quit squeezing into the megatrops.
Nobody can accuse you of moving too fast. Ken Burns covered all five years of World War II faster than you're getting us to L.A. I'm beginning to feel like I've walked to the West Coast.

It very well could be. By the time I got to Callie from Texas on the Amtrak, I was pretty loopy.

with so many people on earth, we need agriculture somewhere, i suppose.

And they say we're running out of cemetery space. Nope. There's plenty of space out here to plant people.

The corporations who own the west now decided to go with dirt and cotton this decade.

Your travel vids are getting pretty interesting. By the time you get to LA it'll be anticlimatic...

Gee, I hope not. Still haven't told y'all what happened with the documentary folm people in Hollywood. I still have that.

Lots of history... miners, outlaws, Native Americans, cowboys, etc. You do a great job conveying the ambiance of some of this!

Thanks. You do a great job of giving Nalts cool music for his videos.

The Wild West? No Indians, No Roy Rogers? And that train, was it carrying gold? Where you there as a Sheriff? Too many stupid questions I know. ;)

Weeeell, what would you have done with the footage? I hate to just throw stuff out.
marquisdejolie 4 years ago
It is a nice footage, I cannot imagine a country with so much space.
