  • wonderful video untill now I didn't know they still ran the Daylight

  • The Daylight was down for a main driving axle repair and had a new connecting rod cast. It was out of service for a little over a year. Finishing repairs where made this past winter, Daylight was back inservice in the Spring of 2009. If you serch in YouTube under this title (Oakland Acorn & Melody Ranch Special on the Whiskey River Railway at Little Amerricka) there is more video of her in operation this past Summer. Full Steam Ahead! Fred.

  • Thanks Fred, Would have loved to been there. Plan to make it up next year from Cincinnati OH again. Will make sure its a weekend too to ride the Beautiful Steam of the WRR
