@Time2Fraps I imagine using a tablet that has several levels of pressure sensitivity and a thin brush with a decreased opacity. I'm not sure if this is how the artist actually achieved the affect.

@Time2Fraps For the pencil look on photoshop i would imagine its a softer brush using the Burn tool with highlights as its setting and pressure setting affecting the opacity and size of the brush on the tablet.... then again this is all speculation on my part.

@Time2Fraps its pretty easy, all you need is a soft brush on either a low opacity of black, or just use a light gray with it. You can even use hard brushes, but soft may be better to achieve the more sketchy look. :)

Drawing this with a mouse, is almost impossible, except if you are kinda a VERY VERY talented person. But still, it sucks, mouse doesnt have pressure sensetivity while tablets can.

Buy a tablet (80-100$) from wacom.
