  • LOVE THIS VIDEO NICE DANCING

  • ok whats up

  • I am marrying indian chicks !! This wedding things are so lively and social ! I just love this south asian wedding.. You guys rock

  • LOLLLL

  • and also the indian girls are family oriented and will not cheat on you.

  • To kayb69, the reason why you can't have an indian wedding is because it is more traditional than the regular white dress weddings. There are ceremonies and lots of rituals.

  • Anyways, my point is that India is a very complex place. Something that most non-indians do not realize. They think we're all the same. But we have 23 official major languages and around 800 minor languages alone! :)

  • can u be christian and have an indian wedding?

  • India- land of many religions, languages and cultures. More than 30 million indian christians, so yes there is such thing as a christian indian wedding. But don't assume what you see in this video is characteristic of all indian weddings. Indian weddings are as different from one another as indian people themselves. For example, mehndi is not practiced in indian christian culture anywhere. It is primarily a part of hindu/muslim culture in certain parts of north india.

  • As far as I know, Mehndi is a cultural thing and not something linked to any religion. Hence, it may be the individual's choice to have a Mehndi application and a fun filled function, if you want to.

  • Yes, but religious communities can have their own distinct way of doing things when it comes to weddings. I grew up in the south indian christian community and mehndi is not part of that culture. It is through your video that I even heard about such thing as a 'mehndi ceremony'. You know how it is in the world, ..things change from place to place and cultures differ. But as you said, individuals can do as they wish and adopt practices they like.

  • i am christan, but i am having a mendhi ceremony.

  • I'm also trying to figure out this song..Please someone tell us :P

The bride is sooooo cute :)

  • what song is this.

  • I'm an Indian female and I've always loved the idea of a Mehendi ceremony, but being a Christian, we don't traditionally have that sort of custom. This piece really informed me a lot about the symbolic meanings behind the Mehendi. I think I'll have a ceremony for my wedding ;) Great piece!

  • I am also an Indian female who happens to be Christain. However, I am sooo having a Mehendi ceremony. It is a great custom that all Indian girls should experience. Are you from Kerala?

  • I'm from Kerala...wonder how to put a twist to a Mehindi ceremony to make it more Mallu ;) not that there's anything wrong with the normal version. :) ahhh I'm excited!! lemme know if u go ahead with it

  • I am also an Indian female who is Christain. I am sooo having a mehendi ceremony because it soo unique in Indian culture. All Indian girls should experience this. Are you from Kerala. That is where I am from.

  • If u want a mehendi ceremony for ur wedding, do it. Religion is independent of mehendi. I encourage u to do so. It will be great fun.

  • you look amazing. comgrads and have a wonderful marriage and beautiful babies. I hope to have a beautiful wedding as well.
