@helpedpig Jun didnt die, he wimped out.... rumour is(and probably is true, because Legendary edition developers were in an interview and some hints were released) that Jun was afraid to die after every other Noble Team member died, so he faked a serious injury and they had to sign him out of the UNSC. Either that or he went to the shield world with Halsey, and is now lost there with the rest of their team. I would go with the rumour.. however.

Personally, I thought that the character you play in the game was going to be Master Chief, because he was chosen to take Cortana. Cortana says that she knew master chief was special and thats why she chose him in one of the Halos.
