  • Comment removed

  • noob shove, noob win. just another fine day in the poker world.

  • Bad beat???? If thats a bad beat someone needs to play chess!

  • This is not a beat. On the turn he has the standard 10 outs. And he hits.

    Go play some PLO

  • @koeff Except...this isn't PLO...

  • FTPokerAcademy Worst Poker Video on Youtube

  • Gus has the best attitude in the game amazing attitude

  • thats not a bad beat, bad bead would of been 2 outs are u all retarded

  • Worst bad beat: watch?v=GYrUB1ETfgI

  • lol that's not a bad beat. that's like - 50/50 when I play

  • Такое чувство, что community, чуть инфаркт не пиз..нул!!!

  • Бывает и такое...(((

  • epic gus-sadface @0:42

  • @Ikoris In poker, you try to get the drawing hands to call you. You want to get it all in with the best hand. By check raising the flop it allowed Gus to move all in with his 333. If Gus went all in, the other person might've folded if they had diamonds. But by check raising Gus allowed the other person who could've had a diamond draw to either come along to the river or make a play all in.

  • To all you guys saying that 33 was supposed to beat AJ because it started as the best hand preflop: Hansen didn't "Suck out" by hitting a 10 on the turn. He just decided to come along to see the turn. I'm sure if he didn't hit the 10 on the turn he would be folding. Since he hit the 10, he got all his money in with the nuts, and got unlucky.

  • Bad beat ? Yes. Worst bad beat ? No. You have AA going up against KK, and you flop A, and your opponent get K and K on turn and river, now that's a serious bad beat with less 1%, and it has happened at WSOP

  • Honey... HOney!!! he called me with 33!!! but then hit a nice river card... Honey!!!

  • not really a bad beat, they both had hands going into the river, both very good hands, a set against a straight? thats poker, I cant even count how many times ive had people playing with nothing to the river then beating my hand with that one card... so to say something like this is a bad beat is not entirely true, even he knows it unlucky? yes bad beat? no.

  • suckkouttt

  • Not really a bad beat.

  • @Ikoris so much bullshit

are you sure you even watched the hand ?

gus called his all in when he had the nuts on the turn

what has that got to do with the fact he is a gambler?

when u have the nuts and someone goes all in u dont call ?

    stupid

  • Gus Hansen disliked this video 88 times

  • I play 16 games of poker online at the same time. I take beats like that on a regular basis...granted it's not for thousands of dollars per hand =/

  • @IAmBallway online are every five minutes those bad beats on one table :)

  • Gus has given more bad beats than taken so I don't feel to bad for him this time.

  • oh fuck i hate that...but its not really a bad beat

  • @TheErolking not really a bad beat ? ! wow xD

  • @SchorleGAMES don't be stupid man! he has a full house, and hansen only a straight

  • its a bad beat...

    its not a BAD BEAT

  • Not much of a bad beat really. He was unconscious to hit the inside straight on the turn, The board fills up on the river quite often.

  • 9 outer ////////////////////= worst bad beat.

  • @blown22 it's a 10 outer 3 is also an out

  • @Tallowisp83 That it is...makes the vid title even that more absurd.

  • 'Good Game' translates to 'See ya donkeys who get your chips in with bottom set and 4 to 1 behind'

  • NO RIVER, NO POKER Gus.

  • @Ikoris Protect his hand when he's overwhelming fave on the turn? Besides, no way Gautron would fold to an AI anyways: *he's* the one that put Gus AI. Do you even play? Wow.

  • Not really a bad beat...just a common occurrence in poker

  • @Ikoris Gus had the nuts on the turn, he did the standard 3x bet to induce drawing opponents: the other guy wouldn't have called if Gus went AI - that's the whole point, to induce opponents w/ worse hands to waste more chips and Gus did exactly that...unfortunately the other guy sucked out on him w/ only 1 card left (all those hands you're talking about w/ only 1 card left are low-probability and wouldn't even make sense to chase on the flop unless the guy was a maniac).

  • full tilt poker LMAO

  • $100K First Depositors' Challenge at IONLINEPOKERdotTK

  • bad beat? he had ten outs for crying out loud

  • Comment removed

  • That isnt a bad beat. He has 10 outs.....

  • @N0N5T0P of course it's a bad beat...not the worst beat ever tho.

  • is bad beat for sure but not the worst

  • gus got durrrred. actually, though, when you have 3 of a kind after the flop, it's only 1.99 to 1 that you make a full house or better. pretty good odds to improve.

  • well its a bad beat thats for sure...but dont know if its the WORST one though...

  • Surely not a worst bad beat - Standard thing - Str8 vs set - Set got lucky

  • this title is stupid. It is NOT the worst bad beat. In fact Gus flopped AIR and the other guy FLOPPED A FREAKING SET!. You should go learn what a real bad beat is. Maybe if Gus flopped set over set and then lost to quads, i'd say it's the worst bad beat ever.

  • someone must show this to hellmuth to teach him how to act with class against these outcomes.

  • i Disliked this video because Gus is my Hero

  • he took it well

  • 23% is the worst bad beat ?

  • its not a bad beat

  • Thumbs up if you've had a BAD BEAT!!!

  • Worst bad beat i ever gave someone was when I had A2 suited and they had K2 suited. Flop hit's K K 2. I put him on AQ so when he raised i re-raised......next thing you know we're both all in on the flop. Then it went Ace on the turn and Ace on the river and i won with the better full house. I felt so bad, lol!!!

  • @Ntre222 you asshole!

  • Gus went all in holding the nuts on the turn... Losing that is definitely a bad beat

  • my worst beat online was at full tilt poker.

i had 66 flop came 366 , he pushes me allin and shows aces then on turn and river two more aces for him.

another one i have QQ flop is Qd 10d 7s, i bet he reraises allin i call he shows 3d 5s, then he gets two more diamonds. onlinepoker is bingopoker

  • this happpens nearly everyday 2 me online, is a bad beat but the worst? not by a long shot

  • We've all had it happen before

  • I am so happy that we have so many professional poker experts on youtube, lol

  • i went from 50 dollars to 2100 dollars and went on a even higher stakes heads up, 10 and 20 dollar lol and fucking lost AA all in vs KK :( his KK hit, i felt so gutted, i couldnt imagine losing anymore than that again.

  • @zombiekid16 Why are you talking about your so called online poker life.Stay quiet the remaining of your life

  • I once flopped a straight, bet the flop,

got raised all in by some donk,

    He has 1 pair

    Turn 2 pair

    River fullhouse.

    Thats pretty bad

And a friend of mine flopped a straight flush.

His opponent got runner runner higher straight flush. Thats less then 1%

  • @tonyt0ny My sickest bad beat in a cash game (micro, but nonetheless): I had KK, flop came 8 J K, tight guy bets the flop, I raise 3x, he puts me all in, I call. He had J 10, then turn and river came J J. Bye bye...

  • someone needs to either delete full houses or flushes- it would make poker 10 times better.

  • i am novice at poker, can someone explain how he won, because Hansen had 10/J/Q/K/A and Gautran had just 3/3/3 and he won. How its possible?

  • @stoptotalkingbaby

the river card gave Gautron a Full house 3s over Ks which is higher then straight.

  • @stoptotalkingbaby gus had a straight but the other player had a full house

  • @stoptotalkingbaby you make the best combination out of 5 cards

    gus had AKQJT

    Gautran had 333KK

    fullhouse>straight

  • Please, it wasnt that bad.

  • standard

  • I expected a 3 on the river, that would be a bad beat...

  • @luismendezs

    Like it would change anything

  • @Trias88 No smartass, it wouldn't.

  • KK have 18% chance to beat AA , the chance is the same

  • 77% is a bad beat?

I played a SNG in a casino once,

Early in the game i got AA i raise and 1 person calls

FLOP 255 , I shove. He calls and he has KK.

Turn card K. Thats what i call a bad beat. 5%

  • if this happened to Phil Hellmuth, the video would be at least 20 minutes longer, and we all know what he'd be doing LOL

  • @irodimusprime lmao

  • @irodimusprime lol, probably true for chris fergusen too.. =)

  • @irodimusprime dont exaggerate, it takes only about ten minutes to call every single person in the room a fucking idiot (including the dealer)

  • @irodimusprime "Honey he call my raise with 33!"

  • @oaoJ69Joao

    "probably can't even spell poker"

  • what if this happen to Hellmuth?

  • i hate those players like gus when the show their hands like ahh like they dont give a shit but have the best hand...

  • This is a bad beat. He went all-in with the nuts on the turn and lost. What are you supposed to do? Check call the turn and make sure the board doesn't pair on the river? I hate these situations where you have the nut hand and your opponent forces you all in with the worst of it... and ultimately sucks out on you on the river.

  • It's not that a bad beat. It's a 1 in 4 chance essentially. God, people think losing when you're ahead is a bad beat. It's not. It's when you are EXTREMELY FAR ahead and lose.

  • @TotalKO1 So, is losing with Aces to 98 suited a bad beat?

  • @bsebll552 Not necessarily, no. It all depends at which point an all-in raise is made and what comes out on the flop. If the flop read 999 and THEN an all-in was made, you can blame the impatience of whoever had aces as making a poor play. People often forget the odds and WHEN the all-in was made but assume that losing when you're ahead is apparently a bad beat. AA vs. 89 is 77% v. 22% which if during pre-flop an all-in is made, you can say that someone sucked out sure but ... cont.d

  • @bsebll552 I would say losing when I am a 90% favourite is a bad beat. Anything below that is just bad luck.

  • It's a bad beat, but not the worst bad beat at WSOP 2009.

  • This is about as bad a beat as flipping heads twice in a row. It's nothing.

  • This isn't that bad of a beat. Nowhere near the worst.

  • this happens a lot of times..

  • Gus took that like a boss

  • gus is such a gentleman

  • Why so many dislikes. He was over a 3 to 1 favourite and lost. Pretty sure that is a bad beat.

  • if u considerer this a worst bad beat then im sure u wld commit suicide if u got drawn runner runner

  • Gus was more lucky to hit a gut shot.

  • @PrettyBoyFalco are you fucking retarded?

  • I call those nut straight hands "pair magnets". Everytime the board ends up pairing! :P

  • suck out more than bad beat I guess

  • You have AK

    Your opponent has 88.

    The board comes AAK

    You go all-in.

    Your opponent calls.

The turn card comes an 8

The river comes an 8. This IS a bad beat due to the minute percentage of your opponent winning. This is not a bad beat. Hansens opponent had 10 outs to win.

  • too bad all the pros dont have gus hansen's professional attitude. doesnt say a word, takes the semi-bad beat like a man, exits the table with his chin up and says good game

  • @Taxi502 I'd love to have seen Hellmuth's reaction; it'd have been Pokerbrat gold.

  • siiiiiiickkk!!!!!!! he only had 10 outs, may aswell have been drawing dead!!!

  • @ger002 how exactly is 10 outs almost drawing dead?

there are 52 cards in the deck minus the 3 mucks and the 5 on the board that leaves 44.

    10/44 = 22.7272% that's almost 23% chance of winning the hand.

  • @shroey20 ugh! why does no ever get sarcasm on this?? so blatantly obvious he has few out. Just so ya know ya dnt include the burn cards in ur odds calculation. No way to know wat they are and an equal probability of them being any card......not like i cud have read the %'s on the screen anyway.

  • @ger002 lol

  • poor guy

  • "There is no consensus among poker players as to what exactly constitutes a bad beat and often players will disagree about whether a particular hand was a bad beat."

    Now shut the fuck up.

  • Gimme a break, a bad beat is a bad beat. Gus was 77% favorite, of course it's a bad beat.

  • @tranquility922 A bad beat is when your opponant win with a 5~8% change of winning. Fking moron go play ur 1/2 Cash games on ps

  • @icesin05 "5-8%"???? LMAO. You obviously don't know the meaning of BAD BEAT if it smacked you in the face. If you think losing is acceptable when your opponent only has a 23% chance to win, then enjoy busting out and being unlucky every single time you play, idiot prick.

  • @icesin05

and 1-4% is not a bad beat? roflmao

  • @icesin05 You call him a fucking moron, but tell him to go play 1/2 cash games on Pokerstars. Now if I can recall, in order to play 1/2, you need quite a healthy bankroll. So not only is he a fucking moron, but a quite solid poker player if he can afford to play 1/2 cash game. Now, one might respond, are you an idiot FrankyFinch, you just need 80$ to play 1/2, anyone can have that. Well I would answer you're a dumbass if you only have 80$ and play on 1/2.

  • @tranquility922 That is far from a bad beat. At least Gautron had a set of 3's which gave him 10 outs with 1 card to go. Maybe it was a bad raise, but not a bad beat. Show me something in the 5% or less category and I'll agree with you. This happens all the time. Gus was only leading on the turn. It doesn't show us, but what did Gus call to catch his 4 out straight? That to me is more miraculous then the full house.

  • @JAMES1980DAVIS Yes, I agree w/ you somewhat, because Gautron was leading very slightly (coin-flip ~50/50%) PF and leading huge on the flop (86%). However, Gus did hit his straight on the turn and that was when most of the action took place, ***when he was 77% favorite***, so at that point, it was a bad beat that he got rivered by the full-house.

  • @JAMES1980DAVIS most likely a bet from gus since he have the position, and then a smoth call! however, u cant take that in calculations though there was only 4K in the pott at turn, and 60K to the river, so th bad beat comes when the money is in the pott!

  • @JAMES1980DAVIS most likely a bet from gus since he have the position, and then a smoth call! however, u cant take that in calculations though there was only 4K in the pott at turn, and 60K to the river, so th bad beat comes when the money is in the pott!

  • @tranquility922 no bad beat, the best pre-flop hand won. the 3s were the better starting hand, and on the flop even better. Hansen sucked out on the turn hitting the straight, and the river was karma workin its magic.

  • @1TOPPATOPPA You do realize that 33 vs AJ is a virtual coinflip, with the pocket 3s only being a 50.3% favorite?

  • @tranquility922 Coin flip, but at the better end of a coin flip. therefore a favorite, and once the 3 comes on the flop it is no longer 50.3% its a lot higher, only one of the 4 tens can beat him. Hansen gets lucky in doing so. The river just returns the favour

  • @1TOPPATOPPA It's not really the better end when it's only 50.3% favorite - it is virtually a coinflip: anyway, the action took place on the TURN, when Gus was 77% favorite, not PF, not on the flop, so those are irrelevant.

  • @1TOPPATOPPA It's not really the better end when it's only 50.3% favorite - it is virtually a coinflip: anyway, the action took place on the TURN, when Gus was 77% favorite, not PF, not on the flop, so those are irrelevant.

  • @tranquility922 What are you talking about not a favorite. If nobody hits anything on the flop, turn or river who wins that hand? I thought so. And you clearly know nothing about poker if you think that the preflop and flop play are irrelevant in that hand.

  • @1TOPPATOPPA LOL, clearly it is *you* who knows nothing about poker. Again, the action took place on the TURN, when Gus was the OVERWHELMING FAVORITE (I'm saying that pf/flop are irrelevant because obviously the action took place on the turn, not earlier). According to you, let's forget about the 3 streets, all you need is to show your hole cards to win. You still don't get it. If you like being a 50.3% fave and get all your money in like that, PLEASE tell me where you play hahah!

  • @tranquility922 3 to 1 favorites get beat all the time. it's hardly the worst bad beat ever. get a clue.

  • @disciple90633 Where did I say it was the worst bb ever? Get a clue yourself and also a pair of reading glasses.

  • @1TOPPATOPPA Gus did get all his money all in with AJ vs 33. If it was pre flop it would've been bad because it would've been a coin flip for his tournament. But since it was on the turn and Gus actually saw all the cards the cards actually helped him. He then went all in. There is clearly a difference between going all in with a 50% hand compared to a 77% hand.

  • man, he was phil helmuth haha

  • even an adiot knows that he probably had a straight other wise he would not follow that donkey.....

  • Bad Beat? Bad Title more like.

  • Bad beat or not, Gus handled that like a true gentleman. The least I would've done was to flip the table over. No wonder I'm not a pro poker player. lol.

  • Gus had the nuts before the river..

only a quad/full house/flush DRAW would beat him, if they hit it :|

  • bad beat is under 10% id say, this guy had 2.5x that, this is not a bad beat.

  • And this is from a poker academy?

Please look up the definition of badbeat.

  • Some players need to learn the definition of a bad beat...

  • this is not a bad beat, Many average players will not be able to trough this hand away...

  • v standard lol

  • bad beat is 0.01% vs 99.9% and that 0.01% wins

  • didn't expected that title from the FTPA

  • The guy who posted this video has never played on fulltilt. I was playing last month and I flopped a set of tens and the guy got running sevens for quads.

  • Thats not a bad beat at all.

  • @pokerstarshark Yep it is bro. He put all his chips in on the turn as a 77% favourite to double up.

  • a 10 outer is the worst bad beat?

10/44 is the worst chances you can think of?

  • @quentin98765 Hahahahaha, really!!!! I imagine the guy thinking, "what could be worst than having 77% to win a hand and lose?" "Well, maybe having 80% and lose to the guy's 20%............. nah, that's impossible!"

  • Worst bad beat would be hitting a one outer on the river, this is just standard.

  • Maybe the worst doesn't refer to percentages but to the fact he got eliminated out of the fucking main event holding the nuts on the turn?

  • gus got facebook? but ehh i got 5k friends lol

  • Gus hansen expression is so cool, like "whatever" - even before the river :came :)

  • This is how I get knocked out very often ( in tournaments) ... I know I got the best hand ... the other player re-raise/re-raises all in with a hand worst then mine but gets lucky on the river . It happens so often , and I can`t avoid it ... I raise preflop , flop , all in on flop , all in turn ( all with realy good hands) ... bastards call me with sh!t hands and get lucky on river ... hate it ! = instant tilt :)) Oh well ... ;) better luck next time :)

  • Canadian poker pro? Is that what Canada has to offer?

  • @jebussaves1 Daniel Negrenau and Gavin Smith are Canadian.

  • @gamemeister27 Daniel Negreanu is born in Canada , but he have a romanian soul ! ;) so stfu

  • You have to love how amateur the other player is...he sighs when he sees Gus's cards as if it was hard to tell? The safest play for 3 3 here was to think of the hand Gus would raise with here, and then call and see the river. But of course, the pro loses to a suckout.

  • @R088O Yeh its not 'hard to tell' what hand Gus had when you can see the cards now is it? Mate in a tournament you can't sit back and wait for the stone cold nuts and against a hyper aggressive player like Gus Hansen a set is going to be good 99% of the time. Call and see the river????!!!!!!!.......when gus check raised a call would make him pot committed anyway so he has to push on the turn. I have to love how amateur YOUR comment is.
