ok, I can't find even 1 clip of Whitney singing at the blue note for the first time! I'm getting annoyed because I LOVE the song, and it's the episode where Fox starts to fall for Whitney! If anyone finds it, please send me a link!
the writers clearly wasted a huge opportunity; otherwise, why spend so much time having fox pine for whitney like he did & as long as he did. even more, i felt sorry for fox b/c he really didn't have anyone that loved him like he deserved & ended w/a short life for a ridiculous reason. the writers had a good character & completely wasted him b/c they couldn't figure out what to do w/him anymore. if they'd stuck w/the whitney storyline, minus the pregnancy & such, it'd would've been great.
looking back, i've realized how much potential whitney & fox had to become the "it" couple. their promising relationship could've brought new life to the show at the time since there was so much hype into the sheridan/luis/beth/antonio & ethan/gwen/theresa storyline. this could've been a big relationship, esp. w/julian & eve not being together. fox & whitney could've gotten right what their parents didn't. they could've broken the mold & had the love their parents didn't have.

SuffertheFools, you're speaking nothing but the truth about Passions messing up couples. Fox and Whitney were great together and had a chance to get right what Julian and Eve got wrong when Julian didn't fight against Allister to keep his life with Eve. I will always miss the potential that JER could have had with Fox and Whitney.

Yeah, none of those couples ended up together. I hated Chad, so I am glad he and Whitney didn't end up together. But I really wanted Fox and Whitney to be together. And I also wanted Luis-sheridan, and Charity-Miguel. Passions sucked at keeping the "right" couples together, in my opinion.
Maybe they should have read message boards and explored what the fans thought about the show. That could have probably saved it and maybe, just maybe, Luis and Sheridan would have ended up together and they would have recast Charity's role. I'm glad at least Theresa and Ethan stayed together. That's the only true happy ending the show had.
Yeah, because it made ABSOLUTELY no sense that Luis and Sheridan didn't end up together. They should have been THAT couple that ends up together at the end, because of everything that they had been through together. They should have been a super couple type of couple. I didn't really care about Ethan and Theresa though, because their silly behavior toward each other, totally annoyed me.

Its not just Passions but every soap opera on tv right now. good and interesting potential couples, like interracial, are always more of a fling for the characters involved. which shows how stale the writing has become in addition to cookie cutter and predictable
It was because Ethan & fox never got along.Ethan was always treated better by Ivy and Fox always reminds ethan how he is no longer a crane.Plus Fox was Known as a player & he didn't want fox to play Whitney.

I know Fox and Whitney's story, but I never saw how it exactly progressed from their first meeting to him being totally in love with her.
I wish I could see all of the Pre-LA stuff between them. I can't really find that on here.
