try putting the vlc in your applications folder and drag the dvd to where it says library

When I downloaded it and tried to upload the dvd, a window came up that said Handbrake could not detect a program called videoLAN or VLC or something. so then i downloaded that exact program and handbrake said the same thing. I use a MAC too so its not a windows problem.
