They've always been known as the ugly stepsisters but Walt actually had the animators make them prettier so their cruelty would make them "ugly" compared with Cinderella.
Plus, when I showed them this comment page to sign, they took umbrage at being called "Ugly", so Lady Tremain had Anastasia cross out the word "ugly" and wrote "beautiful" on the top of it. LOL

I have wonderful news. Lady Tremainw and her daughters are now officially meet 'n' greeting at Disney's California Adventure as part of Golden Screams.
Believe me, they aren't going anywhere. ;) Castle sets return in October, they are doing parties (Pirate/Princess, Halloween, and Christmas) and are going to be joining Cinderella in the Grand Floridian Dining. They're REALLY popular, people love them.
