I lived it kid...what a two show day that was in Toronto,Canada..thew matinee at 2PM and the wilder evening show...I would not trede my memories for 2 million dollars...lord, what a way to end the high school year in 1974...all love....

@TheAuntyrachel Does having the wherewithal to know and love David Bowie for nearly 40 years count for anything? Or having seen him nine time in concert between 1974 and 2002? I'm no musical genius, but I'd like to think I have what it takes to recognize it when it's there. And Bowie was pretty ground-breaking there for a while, sort of the Beatles of the '70's in that he affected culture and style and all that.

Lord no Gemma David gave his beloved Toronto,Canada in June of 1974 TWO big fat shows in one day...the matinee which yanks have absolutely no understanding of...David knows somhow that fucking country would turn violent in an àfter luncg`concert...soooo sad..Anyway back to us...we started off our Summer with both concerts ,popped our cherries for the Sum ...and what a Sum it was hot pants...email me lu...Dr.J.J.

@fireflyzip He was using a lot of cocain, it was said he weighed 80 lbs! He was still able to function & kick serious ass. This tour is the most sought after tour on earth. Bowie claims to have a lot of footage but says it would take a lot of time to gather it.

If anyone had a full show & released it they would become very, very rich.

I have a hard time watching him when he is all coked up like that. Such a contrast from the composed Bowie we see today.

@bobafettucini I agree....thankfully he survived it. Others have not been so fortunate. I enjoy much of Bowie's music from the seventies but I believe what he is doing now is just as good or better.

'02? - and since then a guest appearance with Arcade Fire at one of their concerts a couple of years and ago and....nothing. David!! Where are you?! Seriously, have you or anyone out there heard anything? I know sometimes it's good to lay low and let the demand for you rebuild, but hey, I was a lot younger last time you came around, old boy. The last three of his albums have been terrific!
