  • @juicymakeup13 Thanks for watching the video and commenting. It is not the newest MacBook Pro but it is a MacBook Pro with 17 inch matte screen.

  • @juicymakeup13 Actually it is a MacBook Pro First Generation, maybe you should know what you are talking about before making comments like that.

  • @juicymakeup13 Why would you even take the time to make that inane comment? Get a life. Oh, and you forgot the apostrophe in the word "that's". You're welcome.

  • i just use my...glasses clearner for my screen. its gental and works great

  • @sarastopsign Thank you for watching and commenting. Our cleaner leaves an anti-static finish so you don't have to clean as often. Also make sure there is no ammonia, alcohol or other potentially damaging chemicals in your cleaner. Ours is 100% non-toxic and safe to use around children and pets.

  • @MeridrewEnt Where can I get this stuff?

  • @Jamjo22 Thanks for watching and commenting. You can get iKlear direct through our online store or use our dealer locator (zip code search) to find a local retailer.

  • More like iKiller

  • where can i buy this iklear?

  • @rollingleaf71 Check out our web site klearscreen(dot)com. Change the '(dot)' to a period (.) You can buy direct or find a store near you. Choose the ABOUT IKLEAR ... menu (far right) and select WHERE TO BUY. Thank you for watching and commenting.

  • formaset, advocating people should pay $200+ dollars just so they can clean their laptops is not professional its a ripping off people. I will use this product as it works perfectly without the costs that come with the sh&t you say we should be using.

  • @formaset, you're no professional.

  • is it only me or everyone can see the display screen not shining clean after polish ?

  • @FariFure Thank you for viewing and commenting. It's not you. The screen on the MacBook Pro in the video has a matte (not glossy) screen. That is why you don't see a reflection.

  • I just use my breath and the black cloth (the one with Apple logo) that came with my MacBook Pro. That's all you need. I just can imagine that they want to charge me 25$ for something like this!! It's Disgusting.

  • @sina7601 Thank you for watching the video. Your system is just fine. Some of the additional benefits with our products are 1) antistatic finish so you don't have to clean as often; and, 2) antimicrobial treatment to remove germs from keyboard, touchpad, case etc. Also, kits start from US$9.95. Thank you for taking the time to comment.

  • @MeridrewEnt I've seen the $9.95 kit on Amazon, and the antimicrobial treatment is excellent. I'm getting it and it will be money well spent!

  • @sina7601 Thank you. I know you will be pleased with our product.

  • Wooowwwww.... just wooowwwww.... people pay for this... that's a depressing thought..

  • @bartleta11 Thanks for taking the time to comment. Yes, people actually pay for these products. No one forces them but I for one am happy that people like our products. 100% non-toxic, environmentally safe cleaning fluid and recyclable packaging.

  • I am interested in your product but I am concerned about several things:

    1) Is this cleaning solution still good with new unibody products?

    2) Can I buy this solution in stores?

    3) Is your product supported by Apple?

    Thanks

  • @falloutfanify 1) By unibody I assume you mean iPad. YES! 2) YES. 3) YES.

To find a store go to our web site.

  • @falloutfanify I am a specialist on this. You don't need to buy anything. All you need is:

1- cotton ball from a bag that you know it has been sealed.

    2- Your breath.

3- any light close to the monitor; a lamp or close to a window on daytime.

Blow a hot breath 1" from the monitor small areas at the time then rub the cotton ball where is "foggy". Use the light to make sure you see what you are doing. Your screen will be as impeccable as it came once out of the box.

  • @formaset cotton ball will leave lint and it wont sterilize. You are no expert if you do not know that.

  • @kalijasin I use cotton balls and my stuff is lint free. Cotton balls + rubbing alchohol + DATA VAc + a $120.00 brush. Yes, I am a pro. Don't judge what you can't see.

  • @formaset You did not originally say you use alcohol and an $120.00 brush. Nevertheless, off the shelf alcohol has water in it. No professional would ever use that. $120.00? This product cost $9.00 dollars and has more than 1 use. I could use this product for the next 3 years and still pay less than you did for your $120.00 brush. Your $120 vac is useless on a mac anyways as macs are sealed. Only the external components need cleaned. As a professional you should know that.

  • @kalijasin Whateva dude... I primarily clean video cameras broadcast lenses such as Fulinon lenses in which i use. I am a videographer and that lens costs $31,000.00 juuuust a little more expensive than your little consumer mac...The lens is immaculate as new as the first day, fingerprint free after i clean. Please kindly leave me the fuck alone. I clean my shit, you clean your shit the best way you think you should. Thanks.

  • could you please answer this: is there any alternatives to microfiber cloths?

  • @whateverg1012 Yes, we offer a superior disposable cloth that our industrial customers prefer. The advantage of a disposable cloth is you do not take dirt from one job to the next. We call them 'Klear Kloths." The cloth is an aerospace grade white room cloth used in the manufacture of HDD, optical discs and the like.

  • Which iKlear product do you recommend for a 2010 Macbook Pro Antiglare display? I find the matte screen harder to clean than the glossy and I'd like to know the ideal product for this laptop. Thank you!!

  • @JSantana319 Either the smooth chamois or the deep pile terry will deliver excellent results. The main difference is the deep pile terry cloth version works much faster because it absorbs more fluid. The key to getting good results is to spray the cloth rather than the screen, then clean a portion of the screen 1/3d to 1/2 rather than try to get the whole screen at once. The other big 'secret' is to clean the screen while it is off and cool to the touch.

  • @JSantana319 Thank you for the tip. The smooth chamois doesn't do it as good as the terry one. The terry one is the ideal one for this screen. Thank you so much!!

  • do i need to take out the battery before i start cleaning the screen and keyboard??

  • @GrimReaper1593 First, you should NEVER let any fluid spill into the keyboard of your laptop. You should also know that there are moisture sensors in the new computers to show if fluid has penetrated critical areas. For absolute safety spray the cloth not the machine.

No removing the battery should not be necessary. Thank you for asking.

  • I bought the Iklear kit shown and I liked it but after a while the blue cloths started to leave streaks. I ended up just using the black cloth the computer came with and the Iklear bottle filled with my own solution. I was disappointed in this product.

  • @Malithion2001 Thanks for your comment. I recommend you try two things. 1) Make sure you clean the display when it is cool (first thing in the morning). If you are using a very small amount of fluid don't let it begin to dry before polishing it off. 2) If you are using a lot of fluid be sure you polish the screen sufficiently to remove all of the fluid. You should get excellent results. FYI, this product is used by NASA to clean the windows on the shuttle and Int'l Space Station.

  • @MeridrewEnt I know I followed the directions, but I think it is something with the cloths. Is it safe to wash them? I think theres a residue on them that is the problem. I'll probably wash them any way :D Tell you how it goes...

  • @Malithion2001 Yes it is OK to wash the cloths. Be sure to wash them separately. Usually a hand washing with mild soap will do just fine. Do not use fabric softener and do not dry them in the drier.

  • @MeridrewEnt With hand soap the blue bleeds out a bit, but I don't think it's a big deal. washing fixed my problem with them leaving a residue anyway, not disappointed anymore.

  • @Malithion2001 Thank you for your comments.

  • @MeridrewEnt I thought they used 303 Aerospace Solution on the Space Shuttles. Is Iklear rebranded 303 Solution???

  • @Natureboy251 The space agency uses many things. I believe they try to use the best product for the job at hand. Son STS-118 and STS-129 they used Klear Screen in replacing some windows. Search either flight and then search the FD 07 Execute package. You will get a pdf (nasa.gov/pdf/405779main_fd07_exec_pkg.pdf) giving a description of how they used our stuff.

  • ...in orderwords, it "mattes" out the color on ur screen.

  • @movieluv94 Thanks for your comment. I don't follow what you are trying to say. The cleaning fluid has no effect on screen resolution or color. The fluid helps remove the fingerprints, dirt and other debris. It also leaves an anti-static finish on the surface, this finish cannot be seen. The cloth does the polishing and lifts germs from the screen and traps them in the cloth. I hope that helps.

  • or you could just get a damp cloth.

  • @stoner1768 Thanks for the comment. Yes you are correct. The advantage in our system is the fluid (used by Apple Genius Bar and Apple Service) leaves an anti-static finish plus the cloth removes 99% of the germs on the surface. A damp cloth is good but there are also better solutions.

  • @MeridrewEnt uhhhh ok........

  • best is using contact lens solution to clean it..

    works perfectly...

  • @mrpune23 Did you know, Carrera Sport Optics uses our cleaning solution for cleaning their line of glasses? Thank you for watching!

  • there are billions of bacteria. 99.99 percent leaves alot.

  • @cognoscoall1 You are correct, and thank you for pointing that out. We appreciate you watching and commenting.

  • For what reasons would these be more effective than the cloth already provided by Apple?

  • @128pinkfloyd Great question. The fluid accomplishes several things.

    1) it helps reduce potential scratches by lubricating the screen.

    2) Our fluid leaves an anti-static finish that helps minimize dust, dirt and fingerprint build up.

    3) The fluid dissolves dirt and helps remove oily fingerprints. The fluid is 100% non-toxic and is safe to use around children and pets.

  • that damn iklear stuff streaked my macbooks screen and I had to wash it off with water.

  • @bengalz3 Thank you for commenting. Without more detail I can only make these suggestions. 1) Make sure you clean your screen when it is cool before you turn it on. 2) Use less fluid. Streaks are only caused by fluid not removed in the cleaning/polishing phase. 3) Spray the cloth, not the screen.

    I hope this helps.

  • will iklear clean a led monitor ?

  • Absolutely YES. Follow the same steps as described in the iMac video. A couple of puffs is enough to remove dust, dirt and fingerprints. Be sure to clean the screen while is is off and cool to the touch. After cleaning polish the screen, removing all of the fluid, with our soft micro fiber polishing cloth.

  • where can i get this iklear thingy?

  • Question: would this world on acer aspire LCD screens? Thanks

  • Yes, you can use our cleaning solution on an Acer Aspire LCD screen. Follow the same directions for use on all brands of computer laptop or desktop devices.

  • Does it leave streak marks on the screen?

  • When used properly, the iKlear and Klear Screen cleaning system will not leave streaks. Probably the best advice to minimize streaking is to: 1) clean your screen when it is cool; and, 2) use less fluid and polish the surface completely using the included micro fiber cloth.

  • Yes, you can use the spray. Think of it this way, the Instant Detailer is just a high quality cloth that has been moistened with the spray.

The best method is to clean your equipment with the power off. Spray a couple of puffs on your cloth and then clean using horizontal and vertical strokes. Turn the cloth to a clean and dry portion and then polish, also using horizontal and vertical strokes.

  • Ok, Thank You So Much! That Helped! =)

  • Can I Do It With The Spray Too? How Do I Do That? Do I Spray It On The Blue Cloth, Do The Same Steps, Then Dry It? Thanks! =)
