if you record the communicator bleep onto another phone or computer, you can then re record it onto your new phone using the voice recorder and store it as a ringtone. if you keep the app running, when on a call on speakerphone you can keep the communicator on your screen. Captain Kirk should have one.
I just downloaded the app from Android market, but 2 things: it cost .99 cents, not free (a CBS product), and when you use the dialing part of it, it came with the Next Gen computer sounds, not the old classic series computer sounds. LAME. Any way I can change it to the classic sounds?
I enjoyed whatching your showcase of STC. I have been working on something that you might like, maybe? I wanted to have a fully working STC cell phone . So i got hold of one of the smallest/thinnest up to date mobile phones available and put in inside a DST Communicator. I added sounds and visuals to the phone inside to substatute the DST feachures. ie spinnig moria and chirpping, pluss other ST effects. Please take a look . I would be glad of your feed back.

I have an AT&T Samsung Galaxy S Captivate running Android 2.1
I would like to get this app but I cant find it in the marketplace.
only a ST Communicator live wallpaper for $0.99
