While GGplay had some great macro, i feel he lost a lot of his troops carelessly. He sent zerglings against firebats, only managed to take down 1 or 2 firebats but lost 2 groups of lings. Also, in the end he did not even try to contend with the irradiate. I guess his macro was so good that he did not need to rely on his micro.

any reason zergs dont use queens to muck the units up and slow marines down. seems like whenever dark swarm used.. they just run away.. even when ggplay outflanked him (good idea) he still got away

Maybe ensnare is good to slow down a push, but it really doesn't make that much of a difference when facing the Terran ball. I find the most useful thing a play can do with queens is fast tech to broodling and brood the first few tanks durring the T push, yet I don't know if the timing matches up with that. Another good thing to do with queens is parasite-ing dropships/shuttles.

and also, queens cant consume, so they wouldn't be able to cast ensnare as often, making it a less effective investment.

And when you force the terran retreat; they have to leave the siege tanks behind :).
