I would recommend, and I did this, useing touth paste as a cleaner helps, useing polisher helps get the scratches not as deep, the best thing to do is, toothe paste for 10 minutes

take it back to the place you got it from, then (providing you still have the recipt and theres still warrenty) swap it for a new one. if you got it off eBay or amazon, its difficult, but i think you could still return it. good luck

I have the same problem, i cant do various Online Maps and i cant do the campain anylonger, this is not a faulty disc because i bought a new halo3 and it still wont work properly, the best thing you can do is try get microsoft to replace it. unlucky for me mines out of warrenty so i need to find an asshole who knows what they're supposed to be fixing instead of saying, oh yeahhhh its fine.

Maybe you should take the Game back to where you bought it from and then get it swapped, and if that doesn't work take your Xbox to a proffesional and get it checked out. I don't think people can do much about it without knowing what the actual problem, the loading screen stops. the disc might be scratched, if it has circular scratches around the centre then it might be because of a fault XBOX 360.
