I think he was referring to the Earth tilting on its axis. It would then appear that the sun rises and sets in different parts of the sky. The Hopi indians believe that the Earth will change its rotation. Maybe all this points to a magnetic pole shift... Which could reverse the rotation and reposition the angle of the tilt. On 21st of Dec 2012 the sun will align with the centre of our Galaxy. Perhaps the gravitational pull of the sun and Galaxy aligned together will cause this to happen...

I have done Study on the Mayan number system actually very simple here is something I came across just today .. The Mayan had a symbol which they used as Zero Its the symbol of a seed !! If you have a Number lets say Number 1 and you divide it by lets say Two , you will have a result such as 0.5 In Mayan tradition the zero (seed gave birth to Five smaller 1's get it? we are somewhere lost between Zeros or greater cycles. its not what will be its who we are

I agree. Was just explaining what i thought the guy meant by the sun reappearing in a different part of the sky. We are all in for great change in the coming years. I think something will happen in the cosmos for this change to ooccur. The beam of energy from the galactic centre sounds plausible. Might be effecting the sun, could explain why the solar system is warming up too. And with all that energy around us surely our minds will change. I hope im ready for it.

na the maya are not extinct. there are millions of them living in mexico however the vast majority do not follow their ancient traditions or follow the flow of time accordingly to their calendars. in general a mayan elder is a mayan that has followed their calendar and experienced an entire calendar round. this takes about 52 years. so those who are 52 years old or more are considered elders in that they have experienced all the different energies of the "days" of their calendar.
