  • GAH DAMN!

  • @buddyrush1059 First off check yourself. I ain't white. Second my comment was what a reviewer said I thought it was touching so I put it up. And Three Shut Up and Enjoy the Music.

  • Only jeff healey and Billy gibbons were missing from this :P I love buddy and bonnie the most for this, they are just awesome!

  • B.B. King and Lucielle tearing it down

    Bobby Cray and his inventivness

    Buddy Guy always the entertainer

    Clapton being Clapton (nuf said)

Bonnie Raitt standing with the slide on her Finger

Dr. John Tickling the Ivories til they break,

And Brother Jimmie Giving his brother in Heaven a Send off to Remember.

...I bet Stevie was looking down, and after it was all said and done, he looked back at God and Said "Alright, I'm Good to Go"

  • if you combine:

    B.B's tone

    Crays uniqueness

    buddys sustain and comedic playing

    clapltons soul and heart

raitts slidework and love of the blues just like the rest of them

    you get: SRV!!!

  • @DistortionCrazy dont forget jimmie's love for his family

  • @BBSRVECJH o yea definetly

jimmie was great but a little in the shadows with all the greats up there

  • @DistortionCrazy oh yeh very true

  • @DistortionCrazy Very apt description!!

  • Timeless legends all in one room

  • Ok let's just say they are all great and leave it at that becuase they are and always will be....EVERY ONE OF THEM>

  • I would gladly die this moment if someone loved me enough to have this clip playing on a huge video wall over my grave.....

  • Dr John and Bonnie Raitt stealing the show for me

  • 1:09 clapton watches bb king soloing and thinks: "That guy for sure is a KING!"

    B.B.!!!!

  • @Slackware10

True but dont forget there all respected artist that are walking legends ...only the best of the best stand on the stage and thats something that you can hear back too.

  • I feel sorry for myself, because of living in 21st century,I wish i was borned 60 years earlier

  • This video makes me happy.

  • best blues jam ever!

  • 8:58 - That guy got it right.

  • Every time Buddy Guy is soloing with that dotted Strat you know that he will do something awesome and make everyone smile. xD

  • 5 Strats but light years away in tone!!

  • GOD BLESS THE KINGS OF BLUES

  • this is fucking sick!

  • Just plain ...WOW . Sure miss Stevie.

  • wtf? Buddy Guy is totaly crazy :D:D:D i love him hahahahaha!!!!

  • Hilarious to hear everyone wet themselves when The Clap steps up hahaha

  • @clikityclak so fkn right.. clapton is just on step higher than everyone else on this stage.

  • @stratocasterfranck

Talking about step higher? check out Peter Green, Paul Kossoff, or Rory Gallagher hahaha

  • @stratocasterfranck srry but i think bonnies slide playin kicks his ass :/ jus my opinion tho

  • @stratocasterfranck With respect to you as a Clapton fan, I think he embarrassed himself among all those blues greats. Buddy Guy stole the show, as he always does.

  • @beautifulsarah100 Yes completely agree that Buddy Guy is a better showman, but Clapton has a better technique as of playing guitar.

  • @stratocasterfranck Srry, but if there is someone who is a step higher than everyone there, this guy is, for sure, B.B. King...

  • is it me or is the maraca thing stand out way to much ? listen carefully lol its annoying

  • @BeautifulDiskize Why'd you have to point that out man?! Now I can't help but focus on that off-beat maraca half the time! LOL

  • Nice:D I like this performance:D But the funiets thing of all is that all this guitarists with eachtother are not the same good as SRV. Why? Cause SRV had the ''Hendrix Spirrit''. I mean that this are guitarists and that SRV and Hendrix weren't. They were the same thing as a guitar.

    Srry for bad english

  • Man, I love Robert Cray!

  • I know i may only be 22 years young but the Blues is the greatest music I've ever listened too, whenever im feeling down I'll play some Sweet Home Chicago, or Pride 'n' Joy, or whatever other blues song and I just feel like all my troubles are gone!!!

Blues = The best Stress releiver on the planet

  • So... Much... Strato... On stage....

  • maybe also too rich for the real " no shoes blues "

  • Clapton smiling at 2:30 totally made my day

  • I love BB's facial expressions! He makes love to Lucille. They all look like they're having a blast, which to me, is the best part!

  • haha I love how it takes that many talented musicians to even come close to what SRV had to offer

  • Damn, Tommy Shannon is one of the luckiest bassists alive, having played with all of these guitarists, and of course Stevie. Wish I could have that on my resume...

  • who is the guy at 1:50

  • @frr3esq Robert Cray

  • @frr3esq That would be Robert cray look him up he is crazy good

  • And the winner is:

    B.B King!

  • 8:11 wtf just play buddy guy

  • eric clapton fuck off! stevie ray rules

  • @rollingchassis calm down boy...eric was in tribute to SRV. Musicians respect one another. Cant you show some goddamn respect?!

  • so many strat's <3

  • What Key is this in?

  • @apctool2006 It's a 3/4 shuffle in the key of G.

  • I wonder if Stevie used capos...

  • wtf was buddy doing on the rallentando lol

  • Blues Gods!

  • Why god??? you take the wrong brother, you should kill this, no stevie.

  • clapton's face at 2:30 lol!

    he lovesss buddy guy's playing.

  • Is this a tribute to SRV? Excellent guitar players giving a tribute to a legend, wish i was there!! BB King is the man!

  • I like how Jimmie walks in there at 7:15 , raises his guitar to the skies and plays the base riff like it was some sort of message to his brother up above saying: "This one's for you."

    R.I.P - Stevie Ray Vaughan

  • they should put this jam session on a cd

  • @10TillTuhda it IS on a cd, the cd is titled "A Tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughan" I think there is a DVD also.

  • All great, but I liked B.B's solo the most :)

  • Only the king may sit down and play!

  • 8:58 this guy's got the right idea

  • All that tweed on stage.

  • I am one of the luckiest women alive. I have had the honor to see every one of these men play at one time or another in my life. Some more than once.

  • they all do great jobs here on there solos but no one had the style and flair thatStevie played with , and 880 is right i,m sure Stevie was looking down and smiling from heaven above RIP Stevie !!!!!!!!!

  • I think Stevie was looking down and smiling from heaven and saying, "Thank you..."

  • BB owns this one. Anyone disagree?

  • D: FALTA GARY MOORE

  • Look at Eric Clapton´s face when Buddy start to play at 2:35. Is just like: "God this Guy is so good!"

  • King's one of, if not the last legend we have left. y'all children better recognize.

  • Saw and heard BB live for the first time last month.... his guitar playing is incredible; saw Eric Clapton a while back :) awesome, Bonnie Raitt is next on my list. --- Jimmy Vaughn saw him and well he is alright but he is no Stevie Ray but we never want to be compared to our siblings do we? Just let him pay his respects. It is all good!!!!

  • hail the real blues king... he deserved the stage throne... =)

  • amazing!

  • @PopExpo dude stop bitching :P they are just having a good time with etch-other. just jamming having fun :P not everything has to be about mind blowing solo's or really complicated stuff this is just about having fun doing the thing they all love most as a tribute for a person they loved. and there doing a damn good job at that if you ask me.

  • @funny00bunny Amen, Brother!!!!!!!!!! This is not a competition , It is a TRIBUTE to the GREATEST guitarist ever. But, I must say that each 1 has earned his (or HER ) right to go down in History as the BEST that our generation or future generations will ever know. So , enjoy while you can . They won't be around forever. God Bless ALL of them. Keith

  • i hate this cheesy blues. same shit over and over

  • a lot of talent on that stage

  • Buddy Guy looks like Cat from Red Dwarf here hahahahaha...

  • LONG LIVE THE KING!

  • Listen in the beginning melody at how Jimmie Vaughan holds the notes a little flat (or sharp) so he doesn't get lost in the band. That's why vibrato sounds good to us, the notes are distinguishing themselves. Anyway, if forced to pick my favorite (I'm aware no one is), I'll say Jimmie. My favorite thing aside from Bonnie answering Jimmie the last times through the melody is the look Bonnie gives Jimmie when he hits that last big bent note. Eric is laughing scared, Bonnie suprised and tickled

  • I know this video isn't a competition, I just can't help my self. I think it's between Robert Cray and Jimmy Vaughan, then Bonnie and here's why. B.B. just isn't up to form, Buddy's fun but not killin, Clapton was forgettable, Bonnie stumbles a little at first and then settles into a great solo as usual with Robert and Jimmy with the coolest feel. I feel they made best use of the rhythm section, had the best ideas, tone, and feel off the shuffle with honorable mention to Bonnie and Dr. John.

  • Wow... great tribute to SRV... thanx youtube! Never would have seen this in my life if it wasn't for you :D

  • In my opinion, B.B.king = The best here !

  • 2:37 is definitely the best part of that jam... the way clapton gets so tickled at the end of buddy's big bend lick is priceless.

  • Wow if you're the guy at 0:01 it will be an honor to be on stage with the KINGS!

  • @alexv50 you're entitled to your opinion, but that doesn't mean you're not a complete dumbass

  • @texasjay but albert and freddie were dead at the time

  • I'm loving Eric's touch and tone here.

  • Jimmie Vaughan sucks.

  • I think Buddy Guy said it best in a interview about SRV. There are going to be a lot of frustrated guitar players trying to copy his licks on a guitar for a long time!

  • one word: WOW

  • Clapton uses the same ending as eeeeeeeeeevery time.. :) It's cool, but kinda boring, init?

  • More Talent on that stage then in the top 1000 charts to date.

  • @Gary280276 hahhahahahaha, ow noo i'ts not funny, its true ...

  • @Gary280276 amen to that

  • Electric guitars suck

  • @thatsthesameoldshit come on, acoustics are lame

  • @thecopster100 If the power goes off they are very useful. I love hearing Blues played on acoustic.

  • @thatsthesameoldshit yeah acoustics are ok with the blues i guess

  • There is a lot of talent on that stage

  • I want a backing track to this shit, right fucking now XD

  • Comment removed

  • Now this is real, legit music. White, black, Male, Female...you can jam to this type of music,

  • one of the best jams ever!!!!!!!

  • Gods Of Guitars

  • Now that's a JAM!

    Stevie was smilin.

  • 4:30 i'd hit it... lol

  • and on the 7th day Stevie took a rest, looked down and saw that all was good... tomorrow its been 20 years Stevie, i was only 11 at the time but was like losing family, thanks dad for giving me all your good records back then!!! Damn Stevie must have had a big trademark smile on his face when he was looking down here...

  • 11 people can't read. :(

  • There seems to be an emptiness on that stage, maybe its just me.

  • i wish i couldve played with them, id be content with just playing the shuffle over and over again

  • wow Jimmie Vaughan sucks. everyone else was great except for him lol.

  • @IcedFever You must have never heard the album "Girls Go Wild" its all Jimmie and although he's not flashy, the man has taste. Stevie always said Jimmie was better. Now wheter you think that or not it doesn't mean you have to criticize Jimmie, I'm sure he's a better guitar player than you. So until that is no longer true don't talk bad about Jimmie. If he was good enough for his brother, he should be good enough for you.

  • THEE best compilation of artist for one Great Guitar player....long live SRV!

SRV you will always be in my helmet when riding through the dez on dirtbike!

  • This is so F**** good!!!

  • hooooo yeahhh !!!!!!!!!

  • i will NEVER get boared of this :D

  • Never really liked Vaughan. This lineup is EPIC though. Clapton is God.

  • Bonnie played with SRV & many of them for yrs! Surprises me most didnt know that. She is totally in their league! Best jam video I've seen of all this talent together! Amazeing!!

  • if you go to Austin today, many axe blues players model after SRV..most that I have heard so far..SRV modeled mostly from Albert Collins who was the best in my opinion..,he took a little from BB King,Freddy King,Albert KIng, Hendrix and Wes Montgomery..he was like a mixed drink...Rhett & bro is out of their league in this vid

  • Wow... I didn't know Bonnie could shred it like that! She totally gave me an ear-boner!!!

  • sitting here at one forty am blown away watching this, love bonnies slide. sure stevie would approve. mac the english wreck diver.

  • @1stdiver - Did you see that it's an actual beer bottle neck ? By now she should be able to afford the ones that break when I misue them. :- )

  • LOVVVVVVEEEEE IT!!!!

  • whats the order of appearence?

  • ha thats so awesome

great to see all these guys together

particularly enjoyed buddy's and erics solos

  • some good old pourch music

  • Look at all those Tweed Bassman!

  • Jimmie Vaughan is the OPPOSITE of Stevie. Such a bad player.

  • Comment removed

  • @spdking01 you obviously don't "get" Jimmie's playing at all. Do you think SRV would agree with your ridiculous observation?

  • @Fatshead Yes, I DO "GET" Jimmie. And yes, he is a lousy player. I do play better than himself BY FAR.

  • @spdking01 opinions are like a**holes as they say. I'll let more knowledgeable people like those who vote the Grammy Awards be the judge of what great blues guitar is. Jimmie has won 3. Even SRV once admitted “I play probably 80 percent of what I can play. Jimmie plays one percent of what he knows. He can play anything.”

  • @Fatshead thank you. Since everyone knows SRV idolized his brother & he was as much his inspiration as the Kings, Clapton, Hendrix & one or two others. But he accredits much of his talent and love of guitar to his brother Jimmy. <3 TY for standing up to that you know what opinionated pur-pur-person. I appreciate it. :D

  • @LADYJUSTICE50 I tired of that imbecile. Thanks for the support!

  • @spdking01 demonstrate

  • @spdking01 I mean, it would do so many things. It would show everyone who you are insulting that you're in a position to insult and they are not in position to judge or have an opinion. It would also prove your claim, that you are a better guitar player, by far, than Jimmie Vaughan. So find a web cam somewhere and make a little video and show us. Until then, while no one can technically prove you're an idiot, you will be one in the opinion of the majority.

  • @vguitarman Got a problem with my opinion, fucking moron? So shoot yourself in the middle of your own eyes or find a shrink to solve it. Dumb-ass.

  • @Fatshead jimmie fuckin sucks!!!

  • @joehudson judging from your yt page, I guess your idea of good blues guitar is Ace Frehly. I rest my case.

  • @Fatshead jimmie fuckin sucks!!! and so do you old timer!!!

  • @joehudson That's the best you could do? You pathetic little twit! What are you even doing here? You don't belong. Go home to Axl.

  • @Fatshead dear greybush, i'm goin home to your mom's house!!! jimmie fuckin sucks!!!

  • @joehudson you think I'm old, just wait 'till my mom jumps your tender little ass. careful what you wish for.

  • @Fatshead dear greybush, that was a horrible comeback... better start takin some ginko. jimmie fuckin sucks!!!

  • BB got me. Clapton got me. Bonnie got me. Robert, Jimmie and Buddy missed the mark for me. It was a big CF, frankly, but I do like the fact that you can get a bunch of big names together and have fun.

  • This is the worst blue jam I've ever seen.

  • Helllllllllllllllllllll Yeah !!!!!

thiz iz Bluezin .............. wooooooooo hoooooooooo !!!!! and a classy lot this is xx

  • SRV would melt and blow every guy up there..his innovating guitar sound and playing will always stand out..but BB and Clapton ..stood up in their own on this onw..

  • Comment removed

  • BB's opening solo gives me chills. Everyone else looks on in awe...

  • only the KING may sit and play :)))))))))))))

  • @busoo and play he does.. and play he does! ;)

  • @busoo theres three of them

  • Makes you feel a little sorry for Clapton when Buddy blows up the stage just before his turn.

  • buddy guy always brings the greatest smile to my face. best lineup ever, too!

  • DAMN, it still hurts like hell....

  • bb and eric owned

  • the first 8 track tape I bought was bb king the blues.

  • twang away, jimmie!

  • Where the hell was SRV? I mean this was cool but I was waiting for SRV to make a big appearance.

  • @chuckv5150 This was a tribute for SRV after his death...Miss him too!

  • @chuckv5150 He's dead.......

  • @chuckv5150 Fail

  • These kind of jams cause the soundman to earn his/her money.

  • Damn B.B King Youre so freaking awsome =D

  • to the ones that disliked this: why are you watching if you dont like this, and btw how can you not like this its amazing!!!!

  • Awesome! Just completely, totally, unbelieveably awesome!! What a night that must have been, albeit unfortunate it had to happen. Love you always Stevie!!!

  • 7:49 holy shit hahahaha Buddy is the man :D
