So whats it like playing on a elec. drum kit vs a acoustic one? Cause I was thinking of starting playing the drums but the thing that makes me shy away from acoustic is the noise level (especially if I had to move in to an apartment.)
@UnwillingOrigins I know this question is addressed at me, but from my personal experience they are similar enough to where if you can play one you can play another. There are some key things you want to look for though. Have to use a real kick pedal and try to get mesh heads. They have more spring than real heads or rubber, but they are quiet...usually tunable....responsive...and last longer. Roland is a highly recommended brand.
@lgalicki Oh no, Yamaha sounds fine don't get me wrong. Plus its more affordable than a good Roland. I have a crappy as ION brand. FUCKING AWFUL. Its like playing a big kid version of the Band Hero drum set lol.
LoL! Thanks, mate! Finally someone figured out I was wearing cycling clothes! You know how it is, I came back from a ride and was in a mood for drumming, so I didn't even change clothes!
Sounds awesome dude! Love that you actually handle that ride bell to a 99.9%, usually that's a bit tricky on digital kits, but you nailed it!
I would love having one of the higher-end e-kits, my problem though, is that I hit too hard.. :( The hardware on the kits that I've tried haven't been able to keep the drums in position.
Cool playing. Congrats. Not an easy song to play I imagine (I´m a guitarrist myself), but I do love this song and its drumming since the first day I´ve heard it. Rock on!
I may be wrong, but maybe it will be even more expensive if you get the regular edition plus the improved hi-hat alone. Single parts are usually very expensive (at least here in my country).
If not, remember to consider you'll also get another cymbal pad and a killer snare pad with the special edition. I don't remember the pads exact names right now, but I think I made myself understandable.
No cheesy ass smile? Me so sad:(((

One of my favorites too. The part that starts at 1:45 has to be one of the best moments in music I ever witnessed!

Good job, a bit painful on the double bass drum, but nice grooves nonetheless.

I'm actually using the samples that come within the module. It's its original sound.
