It's more like $1200 for 100 waves after they close, but that's two or three hours and you're surfing at night. It's pretty cool.

100 total. You can split peaks (right and left), which I don't recommend, but it will get your wave count up. Otherwise you get 6 people at around $200 per head, you will have enough by the time you leave. It's more about the experience of having it to yourself...oh and surfing a pool...at night.

As long as the opening wave on the video typically. Two or three maneuvers per waves, four if your snappy. Split peaks are a bit shorter. Probably a better suited wave for longboards. Not the fastest wave for a shortboard. We've rented it out twice and were satisfied both times.

You guys obviously don't live in Florida like we do. Good surf is hard to come by here, so driving down the road to get a fix is hardly replacing the natural sport. I guess we're just open to trying new things. Have you ever surfed in a wave pool? Ever surfed at night under stadium lights with a cooler of beer, a handful of your closest friends in surf spot that you own and have total control over? I didn't think so. That's why you don't get it.

Last time we did it, it was $1200 for 100 waves, a wave comes about every 2 or three minutes so it lasts 2 or three hours. 6 (give or take 1) is optimum number of people to offset the cost and still catch enough waves to make it worth the money. Have fun!

these people making these comments about surfing in a pool most likely live somewhere there are no oceans at all and are just flaming because they can. I am on the west coast also and either drive 2 hrs to the other side to get some possible good waves or drive a hr and rent a wave pool to get your fix. I feel ya bro

I hired a wave pool in Malaysia for 2 hrs - cost me 140 australian dollars - its called Sunway Lagoon - that was 3 years ago - may be more expensive now.

O.o where'd you hear that? Just fyi the surf "area" is actually the wave pool lol...

so theres no way they would close the wave pool down.

surf sessions are early in the morning and sometimes late at night and are reservations only so maybe your just wondering why you never see people surf
