the best series ever. even today there is nothing to compare. jersey shore and the other crap is embarrassing and makes Italians look like jerkoffs. There was 3 posibilities. 1 from season 1 the beef with the blacks over royalties from Efno records. 2 the botched attempt to kill the russian in season 3 in my personal favorite episode 'pine barrens'. And 3 obviously the F.B.Is RICO case they were working on which in the final episode indictments were being processed which is what I believe.

People look into the ending too much. The point is that in the mafia you live your life until one day boom it's over. All of the people in the bar looked suspicious and the point was that you can't hide and you're no invincible even if you're the dawn. She was trying to park the car and failed twice(like the people trying to kill Tony) but they just try again and will eventually succeed.

In my view it was the guy that went to the bathroom that whacked Tony. It is a reference to his favorite Godfather Part 1 Scene. Also the raincoat is an allusion to the mafia. And the ending he just looks and then it is black with no sound. And in the first episode of the final Season he and Bobby said that death in their business comes suddently and silent. The big question to me isnt how it ended, but who ordered the hit.
