@crackerjoe333 The voice over of rorschach saying that comedian died is I think an audio flashback of what he first wrote in his journal,and what I think is going to happen is that the contents of the journal once printed in the newspaper will probably expose ozzymandias for what he did. At least that's what might happen after the events of the movie.

Either way,it's one of those ambigious endings for a story like Watchmen,I hope that helped.

I noticed, and I liked the change; the original "Robert Redford" joke was about Reagan anyway (double R-initials), and Robert Redford isn't exactly the big office draw he was back 20 years ago, so I think that just plain saying "Ronald Reagan" still retained the joke and actually made more sense for 2009.

Plus I crack up at that, after this whole crazy alternate-history movie, he balks at the idea of Ronald Reagan: "who would ever vote a cowboy like him into office?"
