Lovely video.I live in the countryside in Eastern Canada on a small farm.Here it is the same,people leave the land to live in the cities.It is not for me though I love the countryside. :)))

Yep unfortunately.

Villages and fields die due to lack of people.

They all moved to shining cities where they can get profits faster than working on mother-earth.

Замечательно! Я сам отдыхаю летом в Брянской обл. Жуковский район! Очень похоже на мою деревню. Оно и понятно, все это Центральная полоса России! Места супер короче!

Hi friend: I just wanted to let you know that I still come back and watch your video when I want a nice peaceful trip to a quiet little village in beautiful Russia. It always makes me feel good to watch this!

I just finished reading Vasily Grossman's "A Writer at War". He was in Orel and the nearby villages during the war, and it was very sad. Quite a contrast to the serenity and peacefulness of your video. I am happy that Russia and Horoshevka survived such hard times!

This village is called "Horoshevka" near Kolpni, Orel city region. There are many villages in Russia with same name, you need to know exact region to find precisely this one. My husband's relatives live there.

The song is japanese by Yoko Kanno (from soundtrack for "Earth Girl Arjuna" anime) but I don't remember exact title of this composition.
