Even if a child WAS tuned into the channel this commercial was aired on (unlikely, but I'm sure it's happened considering what people let their kids watch), they wouldn't get the joke, and would ignore it. It goes right over their heads. It's like when parents spell dirty words when their small kids are in the room to try and communicate in a way that their friends get but their kids don't.
