Jesus Christ, way to make beating demise look easy. Even using the guardian potion, the bastard went through two health potions, and I only managed to beat him with one heart left! This LP doesnt do any justice at all as to how relentless demise is, especially with that lightning duel. Mad props to you for somehow managing to be even more relentless!
I find it really awesome how in the credits, it shows Zelda's point of view of the story! :D I actually wondered how Zelda managed to get so far herself unharmed while playing Link..
I'm so glad you uploaded these videos... this game was so hard I just threw it against the wall in frustration 1/3 through. I would never have had the patience to fight through all these battles.
That said, I'm a little disappointed I didn't beat the game myself because this IS a pretty badass final boss fight.
Pretty weak? Demise put up more of a fight than Ganondorf did at the end of Twilight Princess. Granted, he loses the duel to the better fighter, but he does have a measure of speed and skill for a guy his size.
Sasukell - you also fought very well. This was more blade-on-blade action than I've seen in any other vid. That pleases me.

Not gonna lie, I wish he had other stages/forms like Ganondorf had in TP. He was still fun! The ending was beautiful, tho still too short. my theory about the skyrim attack: the double helix sword which is fierce deity's sword has a power in his sword thats similar to the skyrim attack. in this game The Fierce Deity gives Link's sword that power cause fierce deity thought that if he didn't have the power, then link would be by now. god i wish that fierce deity was in this game, oh and good job
I noticed that this Zelda is already a master piece like all of them, but wat I really want to know was if this is the better Zelda that has been created, and we gladly can say farewell to the shadow of ocarina of time, is this the best Zelda experience that we mortals known until the next one? or it is not?

Ganondorf is a man of extraordinary power in dark magic. And thus is very much like Demise in that idea and he is trying to take a hold of the Triforce. So I'd say in a summary; Ganondorf is basically a descendant of Demise.
I got part 1 covered of the Demise fight, but no matter what I do, I can't get through Phase 2. I must've tried 50 times now. Whenever I charge a lightning strike, he just charges at me and I can't do anything about it. Or when i'm about to start charging one, he either fires on me or charges at me. I'm totally screwed :(

I wish they went with the TP approach and had the fight with Ghirahim, then a small fight with Demise, then a LOFTWING battle with him. Your on a regular one and he's on a dragon as big as Levias. Notice how often when the Master Sword is pulled from its pedestal, Ganondorf's power seems to grow. Pulling the Master Sword weakens the seal on Demise's energy/curse, allowing Ganondorf's hatred to flourish.
@videowatchright I mean that it was hinted at in Wind Waker that when the Master Sword is in its pedestal, there's a seal on Ganondorf's power, and by pulling the Master Sword, Link breaks that seal.
Guys, when discussing the timeline, it has been already said that SS is currently the first of the games. It goes through to explain how Ganondorf came to be, and how we created the Master Sword, kinda.
@tommis117 Except that the manuals of LoZ/AoL already explained 25 years ago that LoZ's main character was the first chosen hero of the Triforce and then that that's why all main characters are called Link, because LoZ's main character was Link, too. Making LoZ/AoL the first of the series.
This isn't the only thing that games from OoT onward contradict with cheesy cartoony plots. I guess Nintendo don't expect nowadays players to know the first 4 games and so reject their story. :(
@CastChaos The manuals never stated that the he's the first chosen hero of the Triforce. They state that the king hid the Triforce of Courage away and cast a spell so that the mark of the Triforce of Courage would appear on the hand of one worthy to hold it. That doesn't mean that this particular Link was the first, it just means he's the only one who really questioned it, and as a result, Impa told him the legend of the sleeping princess.
@tommis117 It doesn't 'kinda' explain the Master Sword's creation, it fully explains it. Hylia left the Goddess Sword for her chosen Hero, and through the trials he endured and the holy flames of Din, Nayru and Farore, the Goddess Sword became the Master Sword.
I think that SS (Skyward Sword) should've been the prequel to TP (Twilight Princess). Because the Master Sword at the end looks like it was in scenery where it was found in the middle of TP. And the only relationship between Ocarina of Time and skyward was the triforce and etc.
@JaxnRdS Compare the Sealed Temple in SS to OoT's Temple of Time. Both house the Master Sword, both are used to move back and forth through time, and in TP, the Sacred Grove where you find the Master Sword is the ruined Temple of Time and it's in the Faron Woods, just like the Sealed Temple. So, it seems to point as if the Sealed Temple and the area around it became OoT's Temple of Time and Castle Town, then Castle Town moved, the temple fell into ruin and became the Sacred Grove.
@videowatchright I know there's a Temple of Time in Lanayru Desert. I've beaten the game... twice. I pointed to the Sealed Temple as the future Temple of Time because of the similarities between it, the Temple of Time in OoT, and the Sacred Grove (former Temple of Time) in Twilight Princess. Like I said, all three are home to the Master Sword, both the Sealed Temple and the Sacred Grove are in Faron Woods, and all hold a gate or door that allows Link to move through time.

It makes sense, I don't think Zelda and Link would leave the Master sword/temple like that, and in Minish cap the sword (Picori blade I guess) is with the Royal family. I guess after that (and 4 swords xD) they made a Temple apart from the castle, like in OoT. Then, if you remember, the town and castle were destroyed after it so,the Temple of time and Master sword were left in ruins, like in TP
This is my favorite Zelda yet. Amazing game, I love it when a game has crazy awesome twists and sad/happy/wtf moments that make the hair on the back of your neck shake. Truly an amazing game... Demise was to easy. I want a 20 stage boss next time. Enough with the 3 stage bosses lol.

I had a theory and told all my friends that Impa was the same from Ocarina of Time because she looks older in OoT than in SS. The theory excited me so much because I was thinking, "Wow, the same character in two Zelda games!!" my theory was later shattered by her staying the the past and being "Grannie".

Seriously, nothing beats a personified final boss. I was surprised! Demise was a great character; although, I wish they chose a different name for him.
@TheRarestRhino1 No, the body of Demise got squished in the present, in the past, his entity got absorbed by the Master Sword, to slowly being destroyed. Where the hell do you get the twilight idea? O.O? And Ganondorf was chained in the real world of TP, and then, through the portal, got whisked in the twilight world where he made Zant think he was god or something... The time portal leads merely to the past, not to another world, like the twilight zone.

@AllenAszartt i believe..but i may not be completely right on this...they "supposedly" made Demise easy because it was the end of the game...kind of like a freebie..since demise was like you were fighting a normal person..and you only had to knock him down 2 times. You also had 20 hearts and there's no way you can die...there also was no bird statue to save if I'm correct...which kind of means...something's up with the boss...which is...He is way too easy!:)

While demise fight seems rather short, it is extremely epic and the best final fight I have seen.
Also keep in mind he may not be at full power since he is still in the process of absorbing Zelda's soul

This is my favorite Zelda yet. Amazing game, I love it when a game has crazy awesome twists and sad/happy/wtf moments that make the hair on the back of your neck shake. Truly an amazing game... Demise was to easy. I want a 20 stage boss next time. Enough with the 3 stage bosses lol.

I can see how twilight princess leads to this...mostly because Link puts back the Master Sword and in TP he rides off on Epona without the Sword.But still awesome game its not over.:D

I had a theory and told all my friends that Impa was the same from Ocarina of Time because she looks older in OoT than in SS. The theory excited me so much because I was thinking, "Wow, the same character in two Zelda games!!" my theory was later shattered by her staying the the past and being "Grannie".

@migeme10 the tycoon wallet you get by getting all gratitude crystals to Batreaux holds 9000 rupees, if you buy all expansions in Beedle's shop, you'll have extra space for 900 more rupees, in total you can have a max amount of 9900 rupees in the game

@TheRarestRhino1 No, the body of Demise got squished in the present, in the past, his entity got absorbed by the Master Sword, to slowly being destroyed. Where the hell do you get the twilight idea? O.O? And Ganondorf was chained in the real world of TP, and then, through the portal, got whisked in the twilight world where he made Zant think he was god or something... The time portal leads merely to the past, not to another world, like the twilight zone.

@DiscipleMatt This is but speculation on my part, but since it doesn't get explained, and since in other games, Hyrule Castle's in the Lanayru Province, Zelda (Hylia) probably wanted to live there again, maybe she asked the help of the water dragon? I mean, she is her underling xb

@SasukeIII I think I'm on to something. Since there are two times in this, do you think there could ba another timeline split? Since the one where they wished for Demise to be destroyed by the Triforce was in a time in which Demise hadn't cursed Link and Zelda with Ganondorf, do you think this could be a prequel to the Minish Cap as well?

@GingerKidZach why would there be another time split. They destroyed the body in the present, and got cursed in the past, which takes over back to the pressent as well then.. what kind of a split are you talking about?

@AllenAszartt i believe..but i may not be completely right on this...they "supposedly" made Demise easy because it was the end of the game...kind of like a freebie..since demise was like you were fighting a normal person..and you only had to knock him down 2 times. You also had 20 hearts and there's no way you can die...there also was no bird statue to save if I'm correct...which kind of means...something's up with the boss...which is...He is way too easy!:)
