At 0:43, wasn't Vitaly close enough to just throw another few grenades at the other truck? I mean, there's no question he's gonna die, he knew it too, so instead of trying to close a distance he'll never close, why not just throw the grenade from where he is at that point? I'm pretty sure he could have thrown it accurately enough...

This movie is based on the life of a Russian.They twisted facts in the movie though.His name is Viktor But.He was a language expert within KGB- field department.Hands him speaking so many languages in the movie.He had a biggest airplane park in the world by the end of 90`s.They even hired 1 of his planes for the plane-landing-in-the-field-sce­ne in the movie.lol.He was arrested 2 years ago in Thailand.They still cannot convict him.He sais he didnt do it, just rented the planes to arm dealers.

And this movie is very loosely based on Bout, as Bout never did most of this stuff.

I suppose you can't go playing Bout as an arms-dealer, because he hasn't been convicted as such yet, so to suggest that Viktor Bout is or was an arms-dealer could lead to legal complications.

U r absolutely right! "Legal complications". But we know for a FACT that Viktor is an arms dealer! Proving it, is another thing.There is no HARDevidence. A few former goverment members of countries he shipped merchadise to admitted "working" with him in the past. But their word is not treated as Hard evidence./they lied before on that trial. Whether this movie was based on him or not, i am just saying what i read in a Russian and American newspapers after Viktor was arrested.

Furthermore, Africa is a region plagued by unemployment and lack of opportunity- fighting is the only way young people, such as child soldiers, can get ahead. It has nothing to do with them being brainwashed or stupid.
