  • que buen funk, me pueden decir por favor de que pelicula son esas imagenes. muchas gracias

  • fuck'n A good video

  • Fuck the show, its all about Dr. John.

  • this is a kick ass song.

  • Bitches don't know bout my right place and wrong time.

  • ...dunno about the show ..but this is a TUNE

  • Just in case I don't love this song enough, add Jensen Ackles in... What could be better?

  • I love this song but I don't watch this show.

  • What the hell is the show? I guess I don't watch it either! Ha!

  • This song is in the opening credits of Sahara, the movie based off of the Clive Cussler best seller Sahara, with the main character Dirk Pitt.

  • I enjoyed the movie alot...

  • complain much?

  • I dunno...probably not nearly as much as someone who calls herself "Clintonbasher"!

  • i'm a guy, it's understandable IF you dont understand what you say?or type?

  • idiot!!

  • i remember it from dazed and confused lol matthew mcconaughey was in that too

  • yeah, tis correct. only in the film Dirk and Al have been in the Navy, but in the books they're both pilot type people (forgive me for not using the correct terminology - from UK, and we have RAF, so not too sure what america has for their equivalent of the RAF)

  • We have the airforce. The books are ok, I used to be way into them, but they're all the same, sadly. Dirk rescues somebody, and that leads to some sort of treasure, the introduction of a bad guy, or clue that links to the treasure. Also, it annoys me how generic Cussler writes. Thats why Micheal Criton is my favorite, he's different, and descriptive. (I probably spelled Criton wrong.)

  • weird, this is my favorite show, Supernatural, but I just searched the song

  • What an incredible album. Gets better every year. Effin brilliant. The dogs bollocks.

  • Dr John is just too fucking cool

  • sounds like a mix of tom waits and jj cale

  • cmon...you cant be mean while u listen to this amazing song.

  • Some of these people must be happy, paeceful people...can't you just feel the love?

  • Love the show, love the song!

  • what tv show is that?

  • Those are clips from Supernatural. It's on The CW, I believe. It's kind of like a dumbed-down version of the Monster of the Week episodes of The X-Files, from some of the writers or producers of The X-Files, IIRC.

  • i remeber this from sahara. everytime i read a chapter in the book this song kept coming into my head.

  • oh, this song remembered me film Sahara

  • A BEAUTIFUL FILM!!!

  • I am looking for footage of Jon Richt. He is a quarterback from Athens, Georgia who will be playing football for the Clemson Tigers this fall.

  • I love the beat in this song

  • technically, all heatherX... did was jack someone elses footage and chop it up. that hardly makes it "yours," by the way.

  • Dr John's NEW CD -- City That Care Forgot -- featuring guests Eric Clapton, Ani DiFranco, and more is out now . Visit amazon or itunes for a sample or to buy.

  • stop advertizing. this isn't ebay y'know

  • Sahara was based on clive cussler characters

  • still it was really cool

  • Dr. John is the blackest white cat you'll ever hear. the man's got soul

  • Honestly when I found out that Dr. John was white, I was shocked. I guess Average white band are not the only white people with soul. LOL

  • i liked the film, but then again ive never read the book

  • Good stuff!

  • i love this song!

  • i have noticed this song after watching the movie "sahara" and now i cant stop listening to it!!!

  • Great song. Horrible movie, though...

  • I agree.

  • i wouldnt say that the movie was that bad

  • I meant this movie, not sahara. I liked sahara.

  • Execelent theme song for taking "personal responsibilty" for the decissions one makes!!

I made some pretty bad "mistakes" when..."my mind was in a bad place..but I was having such a good time!"

TOO bad todays kids have the rappers and hip hoppers that defend their wrong choices!!

  • F4 Rill! You will BEE awl Rite,....Cause I just know you will. Old School. See ya when it gets most better!

  • Coulda used a little Brain Salad Surgery!

  • Cool song...sounds like something Billy Preston could have sung, too

  • sweeet...wheres he playin these days? i'd love to see him.

  • groove with cool and that backbeat

    love it

  • Graybelly---you're an idiot for even thinking this was close to a rap song--it had real instruments, and was funk/rock--

  • I could not find out right away when this song was penned and performed by Dr. John. At any rate, it's a jam as much today as it was back when. Was this one of the first rap songs ?

  • Rap?

    Lord no.

  • Dr. John is perhaps best known for his 1973 hit song, "Right Place, Wrong Time", which reached #9 on the Billboard Hot 100.

  • Dr john u rule-- right place wrong time indeed

  • I guess we all have been thru these places at some point in our lifes . Great Artist . Thanks youtube .

  • Seems like everytime I go to Mardi Gras I'm in the right place at the wrong time.

  • That rhythm guitar is beautiful. So simple but it really makes the song. And as for the solo mmm, mmm, mmm. That guitar sound is blistering,Fooking luv it so much.Hes so laid back its unreal, specially those snarling vocals. Amazing. Dr John is a legend.

  • It says on Wikipedia that the guitarist is David Spinozza! Cheers!

  • 1973

  • Cool song.

  • Don't remember the exact year, but I do recall it was about the same time that Aretha Franklin had the son "Rock Steady" cause I remember liking both on the radio

  • What a masterpiece of a song, anyone know what year this song came out?

  • I was there when this song came out...Best guess 1973

  • so did i. san jose jazz fest.
