I hate using moisturizer. Will it damage my skin if I do not use moisturizer at all while on accutane? I am on week 15 of my accutane course and my acne is gone. Unless you have really bad acne elsewhere that you're not showing us, I am really surprised they put you on accutane for that! It's only a few pimples.

I had a very bad reaction to Accutain in 1999 the doctor gave it to me and it caused me to become depressed and suicidal (I use to hold a hunting knife to my chest every night) After 120 days of this, where no one but myself knew. Then I found out about the side effects on the news. I'd rather have zits the to kill myself so I stopped taking that shit and I've been fine ever since.
@skaisdead33 um YES this is so true. okay before accutane i used to have to wash my hair every day... maybe every other day or else i would be like oil mining worthy... but up untill like a week ago i could go about a week not washing my hair (only!) and it would be completely normal. which was good and bad. but the best ever product for dry hair for me was matrix biolage moisturizing or hydrating serum something or other i'm too tired to go look. i'll put it in my next video for you! :)

@Cathutane So I have a dermatologist appt. in 10 days. My face has gotten a lot better but I have done 5 chemical peals. But in the last month I am breaking out so bad on my chest back and shoulders. I really hope I can get perscribed acutane because nothing is working!!! But most of all I was wondering if you could start it right away because I have heard for girls or women you have to wait 30 days after your prescibed it. but I am already on birthday control and I can not wait any longer!!!!!

But my Uncle died of a brain tumor from taking acne medication a couple years ago.
It wasn't the same product but... Well my mom's not too keen on allowing it.

I took him for a year and It was the only thing that helped me! Go for it!

im on claravis too! i started on november 4th , and so far everything is pretty good.
i just have slight dryness around my nose area and some lip dryness of course .
