  • lol I saw a bunch of little kids dressed up as batman and robin when I went to go see this for the second time, and I was thinking, "Uh, this movie is NOT for little kids!" lol

  • The only normal one was the second guy.

  • WTF?

How the fuck did TDK "stay true to the comic books"? It was NOTHING like the comics.it was garbage.fuck TDK & And fuck all you Chris Nolan dick riding twats that made the movie so successful.

  • @13manbearpig13 Fuck you comic book twit.

  • @Miffins2

    No.

    Fuck YOU.

    TDK Sucks.

  • @13manbearpig13 Just face facts when people think of Batman they don't think of DCU Batman they're more likely to think of Nolan-Batman and or DCAU Batman.

Sorry but you lost. Nolan and DCAU did a better rendition of Batman. Although DCU is absolute pure Bat cannon, Nolan and AU have more popular interpretations.

  • @13manbearpig13 Hahah jealous bastard. TDK owned every comic-book film and is considered one of the best films of the decade. Sooo.......WHY SO SERIOUS????

  • @regulator619 ...What does jealousy have to do with him not liking the movie? I mean, he's obviously a bitter prick, but I think you don't know what that word means. If he created a batman film that was not as well received and was railing against Dark Knight I could understand claims of jealousy. This claim is just ignorant.

  • @Jormungandor i'll tell you where jealousy comes into the mix. This douchebag has stated on numerous other videos how Nolan continues to fuck up the character that Burton "stayed true" to.

  • @regulator619 Still not jealousy man. That's a preference mixed with a disturbing obsession. Anytime anyone prefers something more than the popular the claim of jealousy is thrown out. It's a gross misuse of the word. Jealousy is personal resentment over someone success or advantages you don't have, not stating you hate something and prefer something else. Use a dictionary before you use a word.

  • @13manbearpig13 TDK was true to the comic books. It got the Joker's character right and Dent's. Most importantly it got BATMAN's character right. Look if your a 14 year old kid unable to comprehend or debate proerly, elt em know now so I can just walk away. But if you're sensible enough to think logically, then we got something here.

  • @regulator619 Disagree with you man. The movie butchered Dent. Personalities were similar but TDK Dent was far less intense. He never argued or spoke to the Two-Face persona. He was just a pissed off guy with a burned face. The movie also didn't show how his mental state had began to deteriorate and made a joke out of his becoming Two-Face. They made it all about Maggie Gyllenhaal which is ridiculous because nobody would lose their shit over Maggie Gyllenhaal's death. She's Maggie Gyllenhaal.

  • @Jormungandor The movie didnt butcher two-face it was mostly about his fall to madness. Infact, if anything, it made two-face important again. It followed his madness logically enough to the point that the audience was with him the whole way through. It gave his coin meaning, Plus, it developed his relationship with Maggie and your being shallow by using on her looks to take away from her character. Perhaps, harvey loved her to the point where looks didnt matter. PLus it had pathos for everyone.

  • @regulator619 Have you ever read the origin of Two-face, specifically the one they supposedly used from Long Halloween and Dark Victory? You actually watch Harvey Dent fall apart. It was about an obsession with justice, he battles his dark side and violent urges the whole time and it took physical form when the acid was thrown on him. Two-Face isn't a man angry about his fiance. He's two tortured people. He loses everything in that story. His career, his honor, his wife, everything.

  • @Jormungandor Part TWO: you can use all the complex language you want but it's meaningless if it isnt supported by logic. Rachel was more than a love interest, much more. she was Bruce's morality check/guide. Bruce could have been out killing people if it wasnt for rachel. Also he wouldn't have had his first meeting with Dent if it wasn't for her. I understand the film and have seen it 13 times now. If you're going to dimiish it you'll have to try MUCH MUCH harder. He is a god in filmmaking.

  • @regulator619 Who said anything about him being a bad filmmaker? Nolan's excellent. TDK is a very good movie, I watch it at least once a week. But there were things it got wrong. Two-Face being one of them. And what complex language are you talking about? Personality? Shallow? Yes, very hard to wrap your head around I can see where you might struggle. I'll try to use smaller words I guess. Yes, it did show his determination, but it didn't show his frustration with the system.

  • @regulator619 In the comics, he becomes angry because all these thugs he's done everything possible to put away are winding up back on the street. That the fight is never ending, so instead of hauling one off in an ambulance because one has his girilfriends nametag on and threatening him with Batman showing up in the nick, he actually starts killing them off one by one. And that's before he gets burned. Everything you're stating, happens in the book, but the fall is much deeper.

  • @Jormungandor Ok look you're clearly not getting the point so I'm not going to discuss this futher. Go look up reviews for the film. It been praisd primarily for being able to handle two villians and doing justice to both characters. You're not immersed in the world of cinema like me so you wont understand anyways. PS two was worried about all the thugs being sent back on the street. That is why he held a press conference for batman. Watch it again and pay close attention

  • @regulator619 I was just about to say the same thing to you. You clearly have very little understanding of the actual Batman mythos and cannon outside of the films. I was just looking to try and perhaps perk your interest in the books which tell the story much better. But you're obviously not willing to go outside your comfort zone and set your aside your apparent Nolan fanboy behavior. You're coming off as a pretentious dick instead of a objective & logical individual which is disappointing.

  • @regulator619 I'll leave you with this, I've never said that Nolan failed with this movie. I said he missed a beat, many of those critics you so adore for praising him, I highly doubt have any real idea of the source material. If at any point you find the ability to step off your high horse, I encourage you to pick up Batman: Year One, Long Halloween and Dark Victory. I promise, you won't regret it and perhaps gain some idea of what I'm talking about.

  • @Jormungandor Look perhaps I haven't mentioned it but I have read TLH and YO. Which is why I'm telling you that you're points are invalid beacuse this film has done more in 2.5 hours than those comics did in their full lengths. And TDK followed a large amount of themes and saw them off to the very end. Two-Face was the emotional aspect to this. It showed his struggle very clearly. Now let encourage you to watch this(found on TDK blu-ray): watch?v=ksCX63DxSXY

There r 6 episodes solving your prob

  • @regulator619 I don't have a problem, I have the damn blu-ray, I just disagree with you. You've read the books that's fantastic. You liked the movie more, a little disappointing but it's your choice. For the third and final god damn time, I liked the movie, I just think the books did handle Two-Face much better. Fucking fanboys, swear to god, say one thing against their hard-on and you're an idiot. I'm done with this.

  • @Jormungandor ok man. Im glad to see you give up and accept the truth. PS the whole emotional resonance of the film hinges on Harvey's downfall. Besides did you think about the fact the the film was already two and a half hours. how else would you handle harvey dent and the joker better in such time frame. Two was handled exceptionaly well as a charaqcter and this isnt a matter of opinion either. His charqacter followed all the traditional guidelines for a tragic hero and stuck with the theme

  • @regulator619 I wouldn't have tried it in the first place. I would've introduced Harvey just as the DA, hinted at his instability throughout the movie and at the end either had his face burned and him in the hospital, or done that earlier on and the very end just done something subtle with him as Two-Face leading into the third film like they did a the end of Begins with Joker. Also would've either written Dawes out or re-written/re-cast her so she carried the weight she was supposed to.

  • @Jormungandor what about the Joker's plan? By taking that over-done shitty route, you would have taken away all excellence from the film, especially the Joker's torment away from him. All you've said so far is that Two-Face wasn't handled the YOU WANTED HIM TO BE. But he waqs not handled incorrectly at all. this was the most logical and believable rendition of two-face AND the Joker that the world has ever seen. Nolan was able to juggle each character and give them all screen-time. TWAS'GOOD

  • @regulator619 And all you've done so far is verbal jizz yourself over Nolan again and again. The man is a great filmmaker yes, but the Two-Face was weak in the movie in comparison to the way Joker was handled in the movie. Two Face was rushed and half-assed and as a movie goer I wasn't as enthralled by his character as I was Commissioner Gordon, Joker and even the very weakly done Batman. Joker's plan would've worked fine even without Harvey. You're making him far more important than he was.

  • @regulator619 And it's all because you don't want to admit your oh so precious Nolan could have any flaws. He slipped up with Two-Face, doesn't ruin the film, just could've been done better. Simple fact. Now for god sake, stop crying over me not wanting to join you in licking Nolan's ass and move on with life.

  • @Jormungandor Wrong! To demonstrate human's nature's corruptability, the Joker had to use someone who was someone was intolernt towards corruption and take him through the wringer. The Joker's character takes great delight in demonstrating hypocrisy. THAT IS WHY DENT'S CHARACTER WAS NECESSARY. Go watch all six episodes of Gotham Tonight on your Blu-ray and don't make another argument until you do. Watch all of them and THEN you can look me in the face and tell me that. Two-face was done well.

  • @regulator619 The problem is Two-Face, (like Joker, Riddler, Freeze, Scarecrow, and Ra's) is one of Batman's most complex foes and you can't put him in a movie as a second. Especially if you put him in with the Joker. Joker tends to overshadow anything and everything around him. Anything else you do involving the Joker, is going to end up seeming lost. Two-Face deserves his own movie or at least a much larger part of a movie.

  • @regulator619 TDK cheapened his fall by making it all about falling apart over a shallow character who was only introduced in the first film as a pointless love interest and then in the second for a pointless love story. Her character adds nothing, she's supposed to, but doesn't. The fall of Harvey and the creation of Two-Face is much deeper in the comic. Harvey is a very tragic character, my personal favorite, and the movie failed to capture the internal conflict done so well in the book.

  • @Jormungandor PART 1: nope wrong. TDK presented his determination to fight corruption and bring justice to his city. It showed him falling apart when he kidnapped that thug and threatened to kill him the street f he doesnt talk about the joker. It showed that he was willing to make an alliance with atman and illegally bring Lau back. And being jealous of Nolan's success over Burton is a form of jealousy. They showed his fall from the beginning. Rachel's death just ignited it.

  • It was better then Batman Begins but still I didn't really care to much for it . Tim Burton did a better job

  • tim burton's batman was a different batman, but personally i think Chris Nolan is doing a great job.

  • rofl @ 0:50

  • the guy at 0:16 looks crazy.

  • that movies was so great

  • crazy ass bitch dressed up as harley quinn creeped me the fuck out

  • 0:18 scared me the fuck out...

  • LOL, the Harley Quinn woman was kind of loopy... xDD

  • o_o woah...That chick at the end was a little weird...

  • ಠ_ಠ [2]

  • THE TEMPERATURE ON THERE IS 69 LOL

  • fucking assholes

  • I agree 100% with TheWhiteSuit, movie was awesome though and so was Heath Ledger RIP.

  • nerds

  • ಠ_ಠ

  • this had to be............CALIFORNIA!!! fuckin losers

  • lol

  • Lazy nerds. There are a hundred Jokers with the white face and red lipstick, but no suit. No one even took the time to dress up like Two Face.

  • For thewhitesuit, your right people should have dressd up as twoface but he is only in the film for like 20 minutes so he came in a rather surprise, but it would be cool to see a twoface walking around all those jokers and that harley quinn lol...

  • He was in the last hour or so. I saw about three or so Two Faces during Halloween, so people did know he was there. However, there were still about 5 dozen Jokers.

  • ROFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

  • its sickening to see how many heath ledger fans their are now, i was a huge one before he died and now its like every person i know (any gender LOL) suddenly loves heath ledger..

  • I understand what u mean..trust me....its also a little anoying when people come to u and say "hey u did u know this guy called heath ledger he did the batman movie"....and then u go like yes he is my favorite actor since a long time ago!.......trust me something similar happen to me but with Linking Park...very similar to what ur saying

  • is there an actor/actress named linking park?

or are you talking about the band in which case you obviously cant be that big a fan cause you murdered the spelling horribly

  • that band sucks anyway, so whats the difference?

  • wow ur kidding right? they are awesome

  • im not a fan anymore, I use to be fan of linkin park back then in 2001, no one in my class knew them....but in 2005 everyone was asking me if I ever heard of a new band called linkin park

  • LINKIN PARK OWN!

  • Personally, I believe that most of the Emmy nominations that are going to Ledger are because he died. Not out of pity; he was fantastic. It is just that when an actor or public figure dies, everyone begins caring because they want to stay current. It is the same thing with Elvis. Even though most loved him, when he died, his record sales doubled and everyone was suddenly a fan. The same could be said about Tupac, or when Tim Russet died. When Russet died, suddenly everyone cared. Fickle public.

  • that is so true! Heath Ledger was awesome though

  • Heath Ledger owned that movie... Look for the facebook group "Heath Ledger deserves an Oscar" =]

  • you are a fool.

  • this is physically painful.

  • 0:49 shes crazy

  • the guy at :36 is FREAKY

  • i just saw the movie its was LONG BUT IT WAS WORTH IT honestly i wouldnt mind dressing up for it

  • I hate fangirls. Hate them.

  • haha that was a perfect cut from the girl

  • That wasn't a good Harley Quinn, but it was funny.

  • Staying true to the comics!? You retard! This movie was awsome but it had NOTHING to do with the comic story line.

  • cough cough nerds! haha look at the harly quinn girl at 53 seconds. haha

  • When Nerds Attack

  • SUPERMAN is better

  • Obsessed mmmuch?! lol

  • Those people actually dressing up as Jokers and shit are creep me out abit. Why in the hell are they dress like that.

    damn crazy ppl

  • b07rivera- You must not have been around for the Star Wars movies, have never attended a Star Trek convention or anything like them. Stuff like this has been going on for years. I remember going to a preview screening of the 1989 Batman movie with my little brother who was 12 at the time (I was 22) and his friend. We all wore black shirts with the Batman symbol on them. By the way- I am looking forward to the third Christian Bale Batman movie.

  • The Joker's girlfriend is kreeping me out.

  • too right she is scary!

  • Lol omfg ya..

  • omg did she just get out of Arkham?

  • that reporter is hot

  • woe

  • I just saw the movie yesturday and it was sick! That was one of the best movies i have ever seen! In my book it was a 5/5 movie or 9 1/2/10!

  • "Ever since Batman Begins ended Ive been waiting for this!" The Joker with the gay voice is histarical too.

Dont get me wrong, i seen the movie twice this weekend, but I went wearing NORMAL clothes and no Face Painted. I went normal...

  • no one cares

  • best hero film ever made.

However people are nutz - especially the female on this video who dressed as harley. Funny as hell! The long pause between the girl going through her emotions on how she's the only one who dressed as the jokers girlfriend to the sexi female reporter had me cracking up!!!

  • Thats pretty cool i giv this a 4/5...

The UtubeCritics: The source of video updates and comments!

  • saw it at midnight-some guy dressed as batman ran to the front of the theartre and did a backflip

  • i saw that movie at midnight and it was packed

  • hey, do I know you?

  • i love the direction they're taking the saga...its not just batman verses bad guy...they're delving into the soul, exploring topics like valor, loyalty, bravery, betrayal, anguish...its awesome

  • Batman nerds > Star Wars nerds.

  • I lovvvved this movie!

seriously people, if you hated the movie, why did you waste your time searching up this video and commenting on it? think about it....

  • Before it was over, I wanted to see it again, I don't blame her for going back to back.

  • omg, I saw it last night, it was so fuckin' awesome.

  • those people are fricken scary O.O

  • This has been going on for ages. I remember people were dressing up (and very well, too) for the showings of Batman Forever in my town.

  • ooooh well im not really a fan of comic books or like those super hero movies so its strange to me

    but thats cool =]

  • Just think of it like a thematic costume party. Everyone seems to be having a good time, so that's all that matters.

I'd never invest so much time in something that's over in 152 minutes, though.

  • yeah its easier ta understand when ya put it in that way

so was it really good? cause im going to the movies next week somtime

  • Worth seeing in the theater. Then again, so was Wanted.

As for the current selection of films in the theaters, I'd say you won't go wrong with either one.

  • cool very appreciative of your opinion.

    thanks =]

  • ive seen this movie

    its so awseome and moviewhiz1

ur just mad because u didnt get to see it

  • i can imagine star wars and like star trek, but why batman? thats when it goes passed the line

  • past the line* And it's because there's other things in the world besides sci fi that have massive followings and fans. Just look at what happened with that last Harry Potter book.

  • The Joker is worth standing in line for.

  • so stupid

  • The waiting in line for the IPhone thing is very understandable, but this is beyond stupid.

  • iphone? THATS stupid.

  • that harly queen bitch looked retarted

  • my friend said it was intense ^_^

    can't wait.

  • nerds!!!!!

  • this movie was insane.

  • lmao can u say no life?

  • nice freeze frame at the end for that reporter lol

  • the people at 2 secs look tight

  • What you just did is called "spoiling it".

    Stupid people.
