  • Great video, camera angles and all. I am learning to use the old Consew 225 walking foot that I got to hobby with because I like to try every thing. I have much appreciation for a craftsman who will take the time to share his knowledge. It seems to me that those that do are truly the best in the business because the demand for their talents is not threatened by the abilities of others whom they help along the way. Thank you.

  • It's such a shame that the upholstery trade is in decline. The trend for cheap , throw away tat from China is killing the guys who produce a quality product. I hope things change & people return to quality rather than cheap, nasty rubbish that's being imported.

You have a natural gift to teach with such a peaceful spirit. I know with out any doubt that if you had some step by step videos out I would not only purchase them but would be able to learn this craft and be able to deliver quality product. Thanks, Craig.

  • @craig sizemore 1 Thank you so much for the nice comment. I do have a 2 hour DVD on recovering a wing chair. You can get it at spiritedladyboutque, com in the upholstery support. I do wish I had more time to do videos, I like helping people

  • WOW! thanks so much. IMMENSELY helpful. I have a question? Can you help me out? PM would prob be best. Need help with like the bolsters of an auto seat. Like on a sport or bucket seat. How do you cut and stitch the curve? I mean I assume just cut and stitch the pattern of the curve? but it seems like it wouldn't be taught. Help please.

  • Very helpful, thanks.

  • Thanks Craig. Just great! The zipper boxing was helpful to me. I have just finished building a Morris chair and would like to make the leather cushions it calls for. The plan calls for a center welt back cushion with zipper on the bottom end, and the seat cushion is box welting with waterfall front and zipper at back.

  • i'm learning alot! and just in time, i have a customer that wants some round welted cushions. thanks for taking the time to share your talents Craig!

  • Thank you so much. I just sent you a question about adding springs and how to 8-way hand tie. I really hope you consider it! Your style and procedure is easy to follow. You make it so easy that I really want to try.

  • Thank you so much. I want to do a 8 way hand tie video, but it would be way to long. To do it right it would be around a 4 hour video.

    Thanks

    Craig
