Gosh the memories... I was with my friend and her little brother and I was so scared even if I wasn't the one who played. My friend was like "GO OUTSIDE!" and her brother controlled Sora, but he just stayed inside the house and started to fight inside xD I was like "What are you doing?!" "I'm just... ehm... practicing!" He was so scared because the sword didn't work on the heartless and it was so dark outside xD
The name is due to the fate he yeilds in becoming a keyblade master on the very night, the night when his home world is destroyed and he is seperated from all that he knows and loves. The destiny that was to be from the day Terra gave Riku the keyblade ceremony. And fate has it that the boy who WAS to receive the keyblade failed to prove pure enough. O o, at least... Thats my opinion on the subject
@AntiFormKeyblade i understand. your explanation certainly is correct and logical to the game in what i have to say; however the very first thought to this song in my experience is confronting shadows, therefore my hypothesis proved to be wrong. Still, the name could have been if birth by sleep did not take place. But thats just reckless hypothesis.
I think it would still make since because "fate" can be used in another sense. Maybe if BBS was not to exist then, perhaps it could have been used in the sense that fate was to change (yet stay the same in a sense) JUST the day before they set sail to new worlds. They did what they wanted, travel to new places. Just not with each other.

I don't know why this theme is only played at the beginning of the game as a battle theme, it should remain through the whole game just because of what it is...beautiful, and is not that I don't appreciate the rest of the battle themes....just listen to this....

Just How In The World can you extend music like this I kept on using Windows Movie Maker and that can't even mix the song together when I try to mix it it only makes that little fade out then goes over t the next part where I mix it. Odd. I was having a dream that I was fighting against the Heartless yesterday and this song was playing during the entire battle. Which was quite cool considering the fact that I was listening to this before I whent to sleep. There were Heartless everywhere I looked, of every kind I might add, and it was extremley difficult to defeat every single one of them, but, when I thought all was lost, I had gained two new team members, and they helped me defeat the rest of them.

I love this song, I love this game. Much more than any other in the series, undeniably.
I was, as a child, very disappointed when Hand in Hand replaced the battle music for Traverse Town. But now I realize they're both pretty dang good.

Alright! If you could, I would like to request some street fighter themes extended. I REALLY want Akuma's although I know he only became available in the later versions of the game. Others that I turly enjoy are Ken's theme, Zangief's theme, and Blanka's theme. Thanks!
