Alot of the original scores for the silent movies have been lost or misplaced. In some cases new scores are added like what Turner Classic Movies does with a contest for young composers wanting to make movie scores.
There's still an original silent era organist here in tampa, fl. Her name is Rosa Rio. Look her up online. She played for silent movies really, really "back in the day". She's about to turn 106 years of age and still does three or so shows a year at the Tampa Theater. She is performing her first show of the year on 8/31/08. She worked on many OTR radio shows like The Shadow as well. She has scored several hundred silent movies for dvd.

This is how Thomas Wayne became a billionaire.
His son will eventually become Batman the Crime Fighter, inheriting the fear of bats from his father.
