It wouldn't be JUST to only forgive him and let him go, someone has to pay the price. So what you do is so LOVING, that you sacrifice yourself for his crime, to let him live. They told me to practice humility and love, try my best not to harm the planet or anything on it and if I do, to do everything I can to make it right. Scripture must be compared with Scripture before coming to conclusions. Something the churches have failed at. Rom 10:9 is True, as are ALL the verses in the Bible. But, Rom 10:9 must be considered in light of the REST of the Bible. What about the verses declaring Christ Elected His People before the worldd began (II Tim 1:9, Eph 1:4-5; etc)? they must be ADDED to Rom 10:9. What about man being saved by grace? Confessing, is a work. Man is not saved by works (Gal 2:16)

What we believe is not the issue. Some 38,000+ christian religions believe all kinds of things. What matters is what does the Bible declare. The plum line of Truth is the WHOLE Bible, not the church. The Biblcial time line of history declares the Great Trib started on May 21,1988, the day the Lord bought Judgment upon the local congregations (I Pe 4:17). Only the Lord can open your eyes to this. Christ returns on May 21, 2011.

The timelines are not clear-cut and agreed upon by everyone, although I do know of one who also believes the Rapture will take place on the 14th May this year, with the end of the earth 5 years after (2017/18). I also know those who believe that Jesus will tarry,..The only thing we know for sure is that it is very soon.

So when Paul received by revelation the gospel of Grace by the resurrected Jesus this is the beginning of the Age of Grace what we are under now. So you have to understand that everything before Acts 9 was still under the dispensation of Law where believe Jesus was the son of God repent and be baptized would have got you saved then in that dispensation. But now we are in the dispensation of Grace(Romans6:14) where its faith+nothing(Romans5:1). All you have to do now is BELIEVE!

If you dont know how to rightly divide the word of truth then your going to get confused just like this guy. It wouldn't be JUST to only forgive him and let him go, someone has to pay the price. So what you do is so LOVING, that you sacrifice yourself for his crime, to let him live. Gospel of John says that there was God and his Word and his Word was God, and when he sent Jesus it was his word in the form of man. Anyone in a local congregation today is worshipping Satan. Not a good place to be 14 weeks before the Rapture/Judgment Day on May 21.

My parents always told me that nobody knows if there is a God. There are hundreds of religions that claim to know why we are here, where we are going and what to do with our lives to get there. They told me to practice humility and love, try my best not to harm the planet or anything on it and if I do, to do everything I can to make it right. I live by those teachings and I neither accept or deny God, I simply don't know, just like everyone else. Why would I be damned to Hell?

@yardayar ...there's nothing wrong with leading a 'good' life but the Bible says that our 'goodness' alone isn't enough to get us to Heaven because the problem is that we were born in a certain condition, separated form God. The human race made it's decision centuries ago. When we accept Jesus & his death on the cross (God putting our sins on Jesus, then punishing him instead of us), repent of our sinful condition, we are saved. In exchange we receive Jesus' life & right-standing before God:)

@RemiEsther Yes but what makes anyone put all of their faith into what the Bible says? As far as human history goes, Christianity is a new religion. There are hundreds of religions today, some much older than Christianity...and they all claim to be the one and only truth. Nobody alive today has ever seen God...yet so many have blind faith. It makes no sense to create humans, never show yourself but expect everyone to believe/worship you and toss you in Hell if you don't,that seems sadistic to me

@yardayar ...Chritianity is the name for people who follow Jesus & his teachings, written down by his followers. His claims that he is God's son makes Christianity stand alone in that it isn't a list of rules we have to keep in order to please God & get to heaven. The Bible shows us that God has already sorted out a way for us to get back to him, NOW, on earth & be in releationship with him. He helps us change to become more like him....

@yardayar ...Hell was never made for human beings, it was made for the devil & his demons. Any kind of sin can't abide in God's presence, so automatically we were doomed....There was no other way to fix it than for God to put it all on Jesus & punish him, guaranteeing that for anyone repenting & believing in Jesus, right-standing with God & eternal life.

I guess you didn't watch the video. Man can't do ANTHING to assist in His Salvation. God handles 100% of the transaction for His People, CHOSEN before the world began (II Tim 1:9; Eph 1:4-5: etc). Man can pray he was among this Remnant.chosen of God We pray, we WAIT upon Him (Lam 3:2). Repenting, believing, confessing, water baptims, are WORKS! Man is not ssaved by works (Gal 2:16; etc).

@WitnessoftheTruth ..Lol! You have an interesting perspective of 'works'! The Bible says we are to go and tell everyone what we believe, baptising them & making disiples. When they repent, believe in Jesus & confess, they are saved. We are simply accepting what God has already accomplished for us; Jesus' death, resurrection & the dealing with sin (which of us could have done this work??).....

But if you don't believe half of it, what on earth do you think you're being saved from & why bother at all? Think it's not smart calling yourself 'witness of the truth' when you're not too sure of it yourself & don't consider it worthwhile sharing the way Home with anyone else......:(

This is what the churches teach. But church doctrine and the Bible are NOT in agreement. Which is wrong? The church or he Bible? Any obedience to God's commands are works. Christ chose His Heirs before the world began (II Tim 1:9; Eph 1:4-5; etc). The True Heirs point to the FINISHED work of Christ. Not tell them to to x,y, and z. How was John the Baptist saved in the womb? A baby? Someone with a mental defect?

@Witnessofthe Truth The Bible says: "..if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). That's from the Bible and what Churches are preaching. Not sure where you are getting your facts....?

Scripture must be compared with Scripture before coming to conclusions. Something the churches have failed at. Rom 10:9 is True, as are ALL the verses in the Bible. But, Rom 10:9 must be considered in light of the REST of the Bible. What about the verses declaring Christ Elected His People before the worldd began (II Tim 1:9, Eph 1:4-5; etc)? they must be ADDED to Rom 10:9. What about man being saved by grace? Confessing, is a work. Man is not saved by works (Gal 2:16)

@WitnessoftheTruth ..be interested in how you came to the conclusion that 'confessing' is a work?? Odd. By Christ electing his people before the world began only shows that he already knew who would respond to the gospel.....? Your view re the Church: In the Bible it shows the saved, all together=The Church, the Bride of Christ. Nowhere in Scripture is the church referred to as Babylon and that passage you mentioned in Revelation 18:4 is not referring to the Church.

Any obedience to any commands in the Bible is work we are doing. For example, '1Th 1:3 "Remembering without ceasing your work of faith..." The Eternal Church members are the hand picked, born again Elect of the Lord. A small subset of the entire body of Christianity. Christ only paid the sin debt of His People (Mat 1:21), a Remnant of mankind (Rom 9:11, 11:5, Isa 11:11; etc). Unfortunately, the churches in their rebellion have widened Salvation.

@WitnessoftheTruth.... John 3:16 "For God so loved THE WORLD that He gave his only son, so that WHOSOEVER believes in Him shall not die but have everlasting life". Jesus died for everyone, but He knew all along who would accept Him. There's nothing in the Bible to say that we are 'a small subset of the body of Christ'?? God would not 'install' satan in the Church, then call her his "Bride", whom he is purifying & coming back for!! The only person who consistently attacks the church..is satan...

The Bible declares in II Thes 2:2-4, that Christ would NOT return until the 'son of perdition' (Satan) had taken his seat (was ruling) in the temple (the churches). This prophesy was fulfilled on May 21,1988, when Christ installed Satan to rule in the congregations during the 8,400 day Grt Trb as Judgment upon them (1 Pe 4:17; etc). Rev 17 & 18 are speaking about the congregations. See II Cor 11:13-15. Mat 24:15-16; etc). Google May 21, 2011

@WitnessoftheTruth ..I'm not a Post-Trib or Mid-Trib believer, I'm a Pre-Trib, so my belief is that we won't be here during the Tribulation, although the Bible says many will be saved during this time. I disagree on your interpretation of the Church; The Bible never refers to the Church as Babylon, she is: a holy nation, a Royal priesthood, a chosen people, the 'Bride' of Christ, his Body of which he is the head...a beautiful bride he is coming back for...

What we believe is not the issue. Some 38,000+ christian religions believe all kinds of things. What matters is what does the Bible declare. The plum line of Truth is the WHOLE Bible, not the church. The Biblcial time line of history declares the Great Trib started on May 21,1988, the day the Lord bought Judgment upon the local congregations (I Pe 4:17). Only the Lord can open your eyes to this. Christ returns on May 21, 2011.

@WitnessoftheTruth ...what we believe IS the issue when it comes to the Tribulation because even the wisest of scholars agree to differ on this. The timelines are not clear-cut and agreed upon by everyone, although I do know of one who also believes the Rapture will take place on the 14th May this year, with the end of the earth 5 years after (2017/18). I also know those who believe that Jesus will tarry,..The only thing we know for sure is that it is very soon.

In our day, all the dates are known. The Lord promised this would be the case (Ecc 8:5; I Thes 5:4-6; Dan 12:4; etc). The True Heirs are working today OUTSIDE the churches to warn the world, as commanded in Ezek 3, 18, 33. I see the Sword coming on the pages of the Bible, as God has opened men's understanding. Your friend is VERY close. The Rapture will be May 21, 2011. The end of the world by fire is 5 MONTHS (not years) later on Oct 21

@WitnessoftheTruth ...what do your christian friends think of your interpretation? Do they agree? I find it all riveting, although we're gonna have to disagree on much of your interpretation. I always give people who refuse to accept that they could be wrong, a very wide berth...The need to believe that they are the 'only one' and that they have some 'special revelation', is a bit unhealthy. All through the Bible, God always confirms his word & he used a whole bunch of us.......

The Bible contains one Truth. The Spirt of the Lord must GIVE that to a person (I Cor 2:14). Few will ever be GIVEN this GIFT (Rom 9:11; 11:5; Isaiah 11:11; Etc).The warning concerning May 21 is being broadcast world wide in 60+ languages for over 3 years. The biggest opposition to Biblical Truth has always been the local congregation wanting to go their own way. This dates back to the Exodus in 1,447 BC, and continues in our day.

(Acts 20: 28). Jesus loves the Church and gave up his life for her "..his bride.." (Revelation 17: 17). Who hates his own body? The only person who hates the Church and the precious saints is the devil.

Yes, the Invisible, Eternal Church. The physical, local congregations were only PICTURES of the Eternal Church. The local congregations are NOT the Bride of Christ. Read the Wheat and tares parable in Mat 13. Satan seeded the church with counterfiets. The counterfiets grew up together with the True Heirs, until the time of harvest. Which by the way is ALMOST OVER. The True Heirs were called OUT of the churches (Rev 18:4; etc).

This is false, man-made, man-centered church doctrine, that hasn't saved a single person EVER! The Salvation plan of the Bible is Christ Centered. Man has 0 control of Salvation. This is why you don't 'see' Christ coming in 98 days. You have a different gospel.

John 3:17: "For God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world, but to SAVE the world through him" and John 14: 6 "Jesus answered 'I am the way, the truth and the life.No-one comes to the Father except through me' " and John 5:24 "..I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned". The Bible teaches this, as does a Bible-believing church...
