This is an old and worn out Pete Burns. He is so tired and out of breath. His luster years has long past him by. No animation, no life, no spark. He as lasted longer than most one-hit wonders though. He really milked that song 'You spin me round and round'. He had talent but couldn't get it together. So much time under the knife reinventing himself. People just wanted quality music. There isn't much more to expect from Pete except his next reconstructive surgery. Such a sad waste of a man.

Sorry that's not very nice, he obviously went through a nasty ordeal. Have you seen the pics? He had to have surgery on the lips to reduce the massive swelling. Pus n shit.

It's sad he can't pronouce his words becuase the lips are so swollen.

Such amazing talent, he shouldn't have to feel so insecure about his own appearance to do that. He was a right hottie!

@Tagg63 He did. Pete got $1.000.000. He was already a mess though. Maybe this is a botch up that'll stop him going any further. The man can't even talk anymore, much less sing. That's why the vocoder's in use more than ever. It's a tragedy what has happened to him and I'd say more than half of it is his own fault.

@arabiansanchez Nope, he is still going. It is mostly maintenance, though. As for not being able to speak, are you referring to that clip about plastic surgery where his face is swollen? Because that was soon after another procedure. At the moment, he is perfectly able to speak clearly.

I agree that he is courting cancer with the loss of his voice/life. Pete's always been a psychologically complex soul which I think is part of makes him so facinating. As I've said before I do hope he starts to really commit to music/singing again as the decade of silence without new material has been hideously disconcerning for the loyal long time fans.

Of course, part of the problem is those shoes. They are totally cool but he clearly can't walk or even stand unassisted in them. What a price for fashion!

Not very impressed by this single. Better new material on Fragile a decade ago. Pete really needs to spend some serious time writing and working with some brilliant producers; with less time temping fate and ruining himself with all that surgery. He almost died once, and still hasn't learned his lesson - hope he finds some balance before he kills himself. And whats with the chain-smoking when your a singer. That explains all the lipsinking - so sad!!!!!

I just watched an interview with him and he stated that he wants to look like a human "Bratz" doll.... such talent hides underneath all that silicone.... I discovered DOA with "Brand New Lover" when I was in high school in itty bitty Savanna, Il. in the 80's.. he should have stopped with the surgeries mid 90's... he still looked good then.... sad
