@TheMika057 Difference is DPI, the rat 7 has a 5600DPI the rat 5 has 4000DPI, other difference is the rat 7 offers more customisation options like difference textures or pinky rest adjustment.

Just wanna add my 2 cents after using this mouse for a month then scrapping it. For one, the tracking is terrible and useless for FPS games. Second, after using the thumb buttons for a couple of weeks, they no longer work. Biggest waste of money ever. Get a Razer of any type, they're a way better mouse. This thing has had no real R&D done on it, worst mouse ever.

@zadarnowski I'm sending mine back to Cyborg/Mat Katz directly since I have no box for it anymore. Mouse lasted a month. I want them to see how terrible the mouse actually is after a month of use and 2 buttons no longer working.

@zadarnowski I'm not discounting your comments, but I haven't had these problems. No tracking problems, no broken thumb buttons, and I used a Razer for a couple of weeks (me and a fellow gamer traded mice to see if we wanted to make the switch). Wouldn't switch. I am starting to experience battery issues though. Under 12 hours of play on full battery vs. old 24 hours. Might go wired/wireless combo mouse next time.

the feet on the bottom of the mouse are to lower the friction coefficient and allow fluid gliding, not to protect surfaces from being scratched....

I don't know about the gloves. If you need to wear gloves at least pick ones that fit better.

The struggle with battery at the end of the clip was fantastic.

@Scorponizer Kinda. The adjustable palm rest is ok for large hands. If you have larger than " I can palm a basketball" hands, you might want to look elsewhere.

@LusciousXstr There are definitely drivers that are used in the adjustable profiles for the mouse. Probably not the best for tournament play. The profiles adjust what the precision aim button does. Exactly what a tournament player would purchase this mouse for.

Got mine today, and after being hyping myself up I'm left disappointment.

Everything is 10/10 on this mouse except the most important part.. the tracking.. I don't know why but randomly the mouse will decide to lag and it lasts for a random amount of time. The mouse will be working perfect but the next second it comes to a crawl and it's as if someone lowered the DPI to a low setting and the mouse starts skipping across the screen.. I tried different surfaces but.. nothing. Very disappointing =[

@serboots Try using a high end gaming mouse pad. Apparently it helps if its white as well.
