I own both versions. Both games have the same exact effects. I run the game at max settings on an ATI 5870. They are running the game on a shitty 7800. Of course their PC is going not going to render some of the extra eyecandy. Why? so that the game will run better.

This game had a TON of potential only for it to be dragged down because of ideas like this. I do realize this was done to even out the playing field but there has to be another way in doing it.
1st post: the biggest problem with the cross-platform play between PC and 360 on Shadowrun is that the developers nerfed the PC mouse control scheme in an effort to balance the playing field between Analog and Mouse users. This is the main reason why I never got this game. Even worse, to better even out the playing field, developers went the extra step in giving analog users aim assist while the PC players get nothing.

This game is amazing. I pretty much agree with G4tv's Xplay when they gave it a 3/5: it's not a full experience, there is no single player, and you really do need a good team.
BUT! For online multiplayer those three stars are everything you need. The powers are balanced beyond beliefe(I keep see new ways all the time,) and there is so much to learn, to refine, making it so very deep.
If Halo is a minute to learn and a lifetime to master, then this is a month to learn a 10 lives to master

Well considering the reviewer is complaining about frame drops, he also stated he only had 2 gigs of ram on a Vista machine... Vista itself is resource hungry. A Gamer should be packing at least 3gigs (max for a 32bit single/multi processor) for a vista machine do to how often free ram gets spent.

The PC simply looks better. And with a 8800 gts 640 i run at 120+fps all the time with everything all the way up @ 1680 1050 and after hours on play there are no slowdowns. It was definitely this guys computer.
Poorly done, get a better PC system. I'm not saying the game is great. You can't fairly judge a game when your PC isn't even better then the 360, which is easily done. One way to remedy this, get a paying job. Try taking a class on how to be unbias. The 360 is garbage, using a controller is going to be slower. Changing a system to make it "fair" for a console gamer should drop the score automaticly on the 360's side because it's not the same game. This is a PC from the start, sorry 360 lovers.

This may be late, but exactly what I'm talking about. The PC player's engine side was edited to give the advantage to the console player, allowing 360 players to come out on top. If it was never done it would not be possible for the average 360 player to win vs. a mouse and keyboard combination of the average PC. The game cheats for you Wynston and handicapped the PC players. i havent played the game but i can tell by looking at it, it doesn't fill the shoes of the shadowrun universe. But the graphics are gonna look pretty badass with a strong video render like an sli setup.

I have shadowrun as well on pc and 360 and my pc is a beastly machine. I run it on fullest settings 1280x1024. It looks much better on the pc.

Well considering the reviewer is complaining about frame drops, he also stated he only had 2 gigs of ram on a Vista machine... Vista itself is resource hungry. A Gamer should be packing at least 3gigs (max for a 32bit single/multi processor) for a vista machine do to how often free ram gets spent.

You couldn't find anyone who had your specific problem?! That's tough.. because people don't get the game if they don't have all the system requirements. You don't have dual core so after a while when your CPU gets warm it can't keep up with the requirements. You don't seem too smart, seeing how you get "upset" because your game doesn't work properly Because of an obvious reason... I recently reviewed the Bugatti Veyron 16.4, one of the worlds fastest production cars. Unfortunately I didnt have the fuel needed to run the car so I rate the top speed as 0. Buy a Peel p50 instead, its much faster.
Remember this is my review from MY OWN PERSONAL EXPERIENCE therefore whatever I say (regardless of how rediculous) is completely valid.

Yeah I still think the reason why he was experiencing frame drops was merely because the PC spec he had couldn't handle Vista entirely. 2gigs and depending on the speed of the processor, both can determine a lot.

The PC simply looks better. And with a 8800 gts 640 i run at 120+fps all the time with everything all the way up @ 1680 1050 and after hours on play there are no slowdowns. It was definitely this guys computer.

Poorly done, get a better PC system. I'm not saying the game is great. You can't fairly judge a game when your PC isn't even better then the 360, which is easily done. One way to remedy this, get a paying job. Try taking a class on how to be unbias. The 360 is garbage, using a controller is going to be slower. Changing a system to make it "fair" for a console gamer should drop the score automaticly on the 360's side because it's not the same game. This is a PC from the start, sorry 360 lovers.

360 isnt garbage, i used to play this on 360 and pwned pc players constantly. They were hardly ever at the top of leaderboards, depends what your used to. I bet if Halo 3 came out on PC, 360 players would reem them non stop.

This may be late, but exactly what I'm talking about. The PC player's engine side was edited to give the advantage to the console player, allowing 360 players to come out on top. If it was never done it would not be possible for the average 360 player to win vs. a mouse and keyboard combination of the average PC. The game cheats for you Wynston and handicapped the PC players. Sorry bro, your wins are false. Though I don't doubt your ability to play games with the 360. No comparison.
