The Beeb had a lot of these electronic tunes that lasted just under a minute long. This isn't the one I remember, though. I'll just have to keep looking and searching for that.
Anyone know of the old junctions for Schools TV in Wales? There used to be a junction featuring a piece of music called Troes Y Garreg (Over the stones) - I am desperate... Help! PS Love this one btw. :)
The French composer and musician Roger Roger made about 50 of these electronic short moog pieces for BBC-television which were used a lot before schools programmes and children's television.
@gnolt I bought that, hoping there'd be a few tunes I recognised, of which, admittedly, there were. However, most were from the ITV schools intervals not the BBC's! The only exception being one of the most well-known tracks, Bart by Ruby.
This would make a great ringtone. Imagine this one going off on the train and watching the faces of those old enough to remember...and those too young to appreciate it :D
